Basically, when a user is on your site, they must complete an action (such as submitting their email address, subscribing to a newsletter, take a survey, etc.) in order to get access to the information they want. There’s been a lot of pros and cons about this approach. Lots of affiliates are seeing gains in conversions by implementing this practice, while other channels out there are concerned Content Unlocking could be the next “Scam.” (Where people are trying to access porn or illegal content like pirated movies.)
IMO, when a site can provide valuable information to a user, content unlocking can be effective. Are there really lots of scams out there? Or is anyone having much luck & quality conversions?
