I read on a seo blog that regional search has been disabled on cctlds for the moment, or so it seems (ie u see non uk stuff in a uk search on google.co.uk)
it has been speculated that google is experimenting with something, maybe for am onth. They also launched that sandbox thing [see webmater tools blog], so lots of stuff happening over at the googleplex right now it seems.
duno if there was a new algo lanuched, maybe someone can shed some light on this?

I only see that http://www2.sandbox.google.com disabled some banned/filtered websites.
That’s good for some of my sites where I did some grey/bh… and good for youporn, see: http://www2.sandbox.google.com/search?q=youporn

I just check that link google said
“We are upgrading elements of our data center. The Caffeine sandbox should be available for searching again in a few hours. “

I see that index off and on – when it’s on I’m getting great quality hits
