$50.00 per click ?

aleph asked 3 years ago
How high can it go ?

Do you see the PPC cost going higher ?

If so, what will it be in a few years time ?

$30 $40 $50 per click ?

or will it come down ?

I would be curious on what others have to say on this.

at the very least its puzzling … I think it serves as proof that other factors are at hand when “selecting” whos who, so-to-speak.

I cant believe they would just be throwing money away month after month, if it wasnt profitable.

My highest bid on a search enigne that I have seen so far has been $9.99.

I think it will keep going up steadily for sometime.

As longs as the ppc search engines can get good advertisers, then the bids will keep rising!

I think some programs use an affiliate quota … that is unless you are sending X amount of traffic and X amount of dollars you will see nothing at all.

I have believed this to be true for many programs all along and still believe it is.

just my 2 cents, but I find it unimaginable that the top 3 spots at Overture yeilds a +40% or better conversion rate. While I cannot say for certain on terms like ONline casino; I can say for certain that on keywords such as “internet gambling casino” that they most definitely DO NOT produce such results even holding a top 3 position.

Yessir, I agree with that too.

As for the click death theory I think this does go on, but not to the extent of controlling whats going on with the entire traffic scheme.

Another word of wisdom.

This is a very good tread.

Casino Profit Shave regularly puts $2 into my account to taunt me. Reminds of Monty Python

At least some programs feel more generous than the $2.00 Casino Profit Shave puts in some accounts. LOL

heh yah “A whole lotta shavin’ goin’ on!”

Crap now I’m gonna see a few more big winners before the end of the night!

Uhmmm I think they are all 100% honest and give us every penny we earn! None of them are greedy and in fact they often give us huge bonuses just for the hell of it.

aleph answered 3 years ago
Arkyt if what you say is true there is a ” whole lotta shaving
going on ” LOL

I guess the morale of the story is

slow months produce lots of conspiracy theories.
:wink-wink

So, there is either some serious stat shaving going on which has lulled affiliates into accepting these numbers, or the big boys are just doing something magical to get the ROI.

Well shaving would explain why your conversion rates and average player worth or much lower than theirs. I dont think their doing anything magical to get a better ROI – if they were that good they wouldnt need us.

Say your average player worth is $400, but theirs is the $1000 that would mean their shaving on average $600 per player. Its just too easy for them to say “well you didnt do that well this month because of credit card rejections” or “you didnt do very good because of the threat of an emminent ban” or “you had 7 deposits but 4 are winning, 1 isnt playing, 1 charged back, and the other was a duplicate signup.”

I think some programs use an affiliate quota … that is unless you are sending X amount of traffic and X amount of dollars you will see nothing at all.

So after say 6 months of making nothing -they can give you 4 – 5 hundred dollars and you will think WOW Im doing great. After another 6 months they bump you up to say 1 -2 thousand dollars and your really happy now, but all along you were producing average players worth $1000 – now that would suck!

Selective Shaving yet another conspiracy theory sparked by bad months – LOL!

As for the click death theory I think this does go on, but not to the extent of controlling whats going on with the entire traffic scheme.
