If I calculate the following :

    Profit / deposits = 1656 / 11481 = 14%

    Profit / net casino profit = 1656 / 6299 = 26%

I thought the GW commission profit was/is 30% on net casino profit?

Wouldn’t the amount they owe you be $1,656.31? Unless perhaps, I am worng.

I am not sure how to read those stats.. I just put them up. I was going by deposits. and trying to figure it out like Inspiration is showing.

The earnings are not very much, with regard to #downloads/players I must say, but this depends on numerous factors I guess. The manager credits “giveaways” are 35% of all your stated deposits. This is confusing because you do not know what happened if they did not disposed of these credits. I think the managers have to adjust this way of behaviour. These credits are for exceptions only and not for giving a player a “present” together with the already high no deposit bonuses, just to let them stay longer. If there were no high playthrough conditions to actually cash out for them, I did not mind. But I presume this is not the case. So eventually they get disappointed because they were not told. I hope the management will come up with better ideas, but not similar to this one.

Btw : If you promoted via PPC at $0,05 pc you have to deduct $290 costs. There are some who did not calculate this.

I have gone through this thread carefully, but I still don’t get the logic of their Stats. I also have in case of Cool Cat

    Total Initial Deposits: $0.00
    Total Deposits: $0.00
    Net Win: $100.00
    Coupon Amounts Awarded: $100.00
    Manager Credit Amounts Awarded: $0.00
    ChargeBacks: $0.00
Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – Credits – Chargebacks) $0.00

I don’t understand how $100 Coupon Amounts could be awarded when there has not been any deposit at all.

They give “Free Chips” away to encourage players to play for real money. The players can only cashout the value of the chip regardless of how much they actually win with it. The requirements are fairly stiff also, so it is difficult to make it and still have money.

However, I am still thoroughly amazed that when they assign manager credits or bonus credits that they take it from your earnings! This is an outrage. The bonus itself is NOT CASHABLE. This is not real money. If they are taking it from your affiliate earnings then it is nothing less than theft. It is silly to count fake money as counting against net profit. This money is NEVER paid to the player and thus cannot count against the net revenue.

If they want to give those free [credits] anyway, this has to be removed from our amount earned calculation :

Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – [Credits] – Chargebacks)

    amount earned : x % * net profit.

hdaddy is EXACTLY right! This will minimize our earnings :flush: thanks for promoting our casinos! We deducted some non cashable credits from your earnings, we hope you do not mind. Of course we do!

Well I have a bit of a reputation of going off on those who got it coming, so let me tell u what I think here

Firstly, if there was a contest for smooth talking affiliate managers i’d have to install Nic as the odds on favourite to win it

Reading between the lines it would appear that something happened behind the scenes sometime around May

Many people, myself included have noticed a bizarre revearsal of pattern in their account balances since that time(that means less money than u would expect)

There was also the mysterious departure of Natalie from Gambling Wages for reasons unknown

In my own personal case, despite all of Nic’s assurances, I have not yet been paid commissions owed that are 3+ months late, and am getting the checks in the mail routine, Nic gave me his word that I would be paid by the first week of July at the latest, after I had to remind him they owed me money several times, now his word mean Jack Shit to me, there ain’t no damn check in the mail, do u really think i’m that dumb.

On the other hand, there might be some issues with payment processing, as True Earnings are also claiming that they can’t find a way to pay me, another RTG brand

As far as player performance goes, all my players are suddenly winning the past few months, hmm, or losing, I don’t really know, I just know i’m not making any coin

I am pretty sure I have their scam figured out, but i’ll just wait and see what happens for a while

As for the stats, they are a joke, I had a negative commission amount earned of $300+ carried over to the start of this month, I guess maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice, so much for no negative carryover

    Overall

It’s hard to question the instinct of the people here who suspect wrong doing, especially with so many years experience in the business.

The next question is what should we do about it

I think the topic should read….

‘Here is PROOF that Gambling Wages screws affiliates’

That would be more accurate IMO.

if this is a fact, and 99,9% tells me it is, why do “we all” keep promoting their brands? Reason no.1 : the high free bonuses attract players like no other program can. Reason no.2 : US players can sign up too. If those credits were given by exception i did not mind but it has become common practice and that’s a bad moral. If you do not like it do not join us ?
I am considering to drop some of the RTG casinos.

another question GW has several brands i promote.

If this happens with the earnings at the end of a certain month:

    Cirrus casino (-1303)
    Club Player (1100)
    Palace of Chance (203)

Are my earnings 0 at the end of the month ?

    best regards

I stopped promoting GW quite some time ago because I felt they were crooked nearly from the start.

That’s just me and my opinion, though. I DID like some of the affy managers – but that was not enough to keep sending money down the drain…. or the :flush:

Wow I am shocked to read some of the stuff…. NO NEG CARRYOVER?!? Are you serious!? Your telling me….. wow…. I cant sit down.

Ok next thing is… where is the response here GW? I hate to state the obvious but its like your taking a long time… Cant come up with the lyrics to your next song and dance I take it?

Another RTG Stat from the virtual group (vitural casino). As you can see the earnings are roughly 1/3 of the deposits. So in this case the manager credits did not affect my earnings or I am missing something here ?

    Total Deposits: $370.00
    Net Win: $2,648.05
    Coupon Amounts Awarded: $1,403.00
    Manager Credit Amounts Awarded: $745.00
    ChargeBacks: $0.00
Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – Credits – Chargebacks) $125.01

Forgive me if I am misunderstanding here… but are you comparing GW against virtual?

There has been a lot of misinformation in the past regarding this. Make no mistake that Virtual (and all skins), Prism (and all skins) and all GW group casinos are the same entity and are all related. They are put under different affiliate groups to try to seperate them. The ownership and affiliate group had tried to mask that fact in the past but it is too obvious and has been proven.

If this was already common knowledge then excuse the post please.

No it was not – for me at least it wasn’t. I didn’t know about the connection between Virtual and GW. I had actually heard some good stories about Virtual in the past. The connection between the übershitty Prism and GW doesn’t surprise my in the least.

I really don’t understand how companies are willing to loose their best affiliates. It’s tiresome, but we see this over and over…
