    Hi gain all,

personally I feel if a page gets traffic … and casinos next to ones that don’t produce … are making money …. then its good general rule of thumb to just take down non producers after giving them 3 .. 4 months tops.

if its a page doing really well … I usually won’t leave them up much longer than 2 months.

    Hi Everyone,

I am still convinced that this is a misunderstanding and my point has not been dealt with.

Professor, I would really appreciate it if you took the time to post your stats for months before May. I think people like Goldfinger may be mislead since the stats you posted can give the wrong impression since they are only one side of the coin; before May we were giving JUST AS MANY credits, YOUR STAST LOOKED ALMOST THE SAME, yet since your players lost, you earned money, and you didn’t complain about the credit THEN.

I think that if you post your stats for January, February, March and April, people will be able to see the full picture. In your other stats, your players loose their money so the net win is huge (since this includes bonus money) yet the net profit is the lost deposits. If you would only post THOSE stats, I think it will be clear what is happening (it is not shaving just a misunderstanding about our stats).

About player complaints, just one of those players professor referred to us, has withdrawn over $17,000 in many different withdrawals and continues to play with us. You can choose not to promote our casino clients for reputation, personal taste or whatever, but fact is players like to play at our casino clients and they get paid, else they wouldn’t be coming back and people would not be receiving residual income. And if your players encounter trouble, I will make sure they get satisfaction. 3jokers didn’t post again, but I made sure his FREE CHIP player, that did not deposit, got paid. And affiliates make money, as Allfreechips and mojo just testified.

    To turtleD,

I am sorry to see your stats perform so negatively. Why don’t you send me an email to nicolas at gamblingwages dot com and I will see what I can do.

Most of the time when stats stay in the negative for several months, there is a high roller or two that is winning and eliminating your commissions. One high roller that is winning for several months (which does happen) can wipe your commissions clean since they can win 100,000’s. If this is the case, I can REQUEST to RTG to remove that player (notice how I have to request this to RTG, since I don’t have control over your affiliate stats)

    Kind Regards, :hattip:

    Nic,

As part of the confusion of the stats perhaps you could explain some for me.

If the bonuses are “sticky” or cannot be kept by the player then why are they subtracted from aff. earnings and calculated against casino revenue? I might be misunderstanding so I apologize in advance if thats the case but it seems as though if you give a 200$ bonus that is sticky and cannot be kept by the player then why is it deducted as if that money was actually given out as a bonus or manager credit??
Were any of the numbers from the professors stats real money that the player could keep or was it all just sticky bonus that doesnt really exist?

I can tell you any number of places where that number of players would bring you a small fortune.

Well seems to me you are pretty wise – your traffic and new player sign-ups are huge considering how the market is these days.

Nic……. come on. Now I want …….and have agreed to promoting your casinos ….. but this is outrageous.

    deposits …150k

the coupons and manager credits are almost 4 times that.

I’m re-thinking my judgement ……. give me reason to fall towards your side.

Just got to this thread, but I have to say other than not getting paid this year, players seem to stick with them more than any other program. We promoted them once almost a year ago and we still have those players playing and a few months have been very big. Where most places, that I won’t mention, will have mysteriously lost these players if we haven’t sent a new one in almost a year, Wages has not let these players go. If only we can get paid.

Also, I think they keep their players playing because of these ‘outrageous’ bonuses. They are ‘outrageous’, but this is their business model, the fact is that players will win a lot more because they have a lot more money to play with, so they have a much better chance for a big win.

That’s what players think, but in reality the money they play with is so diluted with bonus money that has huge wagering requirements on it that they can rarely ever try to cash in anything they may win.

If they do try to cash in, they have the same waiting period affiliates have – months and months. There are more player complaints about this group than you can shake a stick at.

bb1webs : 150K deposits – 52 K credits. If they did not give the credit to the players I think you possibly did not get so much depositing players. Becasue of these credits the players can win more money which hurt your profits. But that is why players return and stay longer at these casinos. So it is “all in the game”. I see similar % credits/deposits. But it does not mean i like RTG stats.

    Hi,

well I can only speak about players I have under me and most seem smart enough not to fall for these impossible play-thru requirements

further … i think it hurts the entire industry’s reputation when these practices are used because people who do take these big bonuses … eventually when the do win .. and then figure out they have a snowball’s chance in hell of ever meeting the terms for cashing out … they walk away feeling like all OG is just a scam that ropes in their money and never gives a possiblity to get it out.

instead of leaning towards these practices that very much stand to hurt our industry in the long run.. I think its time the casinos start taking a more honorable approach and getting away from practices that make us look like scams and cheats.

people that don’t accept these rediculous bonus offers …. know that they DO get fair-odds games and that they CAN cash out when they win….. but there are always going to be “suckers” that simply can’t bring themselves to walk away from such attractive offers even knowing that they are a situation where in the end … the player can’t win.

Just like online casinos should protect those with gambling problems … they should also seek to protect the image of online casino gambling so it doesn’t come away looking like a complex way to scam a person out of their money.

I have said this many times … those in positions to make a difference in our industry can not seem to be any better than the players who fall for such attractive but unreasonably achieved offers. … in other words … they can’t see the forest for the trees in front of them

I have had issues with them in the past about stats. Does anyone remember when I had a bunch of clicks and so forth but no other stats where showing, no earnings or anything like that? I waited months for them to find if they owed me anything and guess what?……. Well I waited a few month and after a few emails they said I was owed nothing.

Anyway I figured I would show my stats as well for fun.
    Number of Clickthroughs: 5788
    Number of Downloaders: 1669
    Number of Players: 957
    Number of New Depositors: 53
    Total Initial Deposits: $1,915.00
    Total Deposits: $11,480.70
    Net Win: $27,847.73
    Coupon Amounts Awarded: $16,889.05
    Manager Credit Amounts Awarded: $3,981.53
    ChargeBacks: ($75.00)
Net Profit: (Net Win – Coupons – Credits – Chargebacks) $6,299.08
    Amount Deducted: $10.48
    Amount Miscellaneous Adjustments: $0.00
Amount Added For Reversed Bans: $2.99
    Amount Earned: $1,656.31
    Amount Earned From Tiers: $0.00

From what I can see also.. it would seem to me that you guys also owe me $565. Thats if its 20% earnings from 11,480 in deposits. I have no idea how to read these stats lol
