InactiveWhat will happen to the players that you have with empire poker? I don’t have many but am curious what the standard procedure on a buyout like this with affiliate players. Party Poker just got alot bigger…

InactiveI’m glad they aren’t with Tradal anymore. Tradal blows! I have been with them for 2 years and I make maybe 100 bucks a month. I’m curious to see how things change with Party.

Inactiveheard from my partyPoker rep. they’ll be part of the partyPartners program now.
i’m waiting on my trackers so i can replace them. ugh, what fun that’ll be. worst case scenerio, 70 sites to update. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
even worse, i was doing fine on residual income from them. maybe the only human on earth to be able to say that though.

InactiveI just finished replacing all of my empire poker links with Planet poker.
First I lose my starluck players after a ‘software upgrade’ and now I lose my empire poker players.
Not very impressed with party partners at the moment.
As for tradal… good riddance, I will not be working with them soon.

vladcizsolMemberHere is the notification I received:
Quote:Party Gaming has taken a decisive step that consolidates our strong position in online poker and concludes our skins strategy that served us well in the early stages of development of PartyGaming. In a $250m deal, Empire Online has agreed to sell to us EmpirePoker.com and other associated white label and affiliate agreements relating to AceClub.com and StarluckCasino.com.You can also refer to the press release at http://www.partygaming.com
What does this mean from an affiliate’s perspective?
1) Please stop promoting any existing trackers of Empire. PartyGaming will not be responsible for any revenues / payments from existing trackers of Empire.
2) Empire Online Limited is responsible for all dues to you as of 14th Feb’06. Please contact Empire Online to settle the same.
3) Starting Feb 15, 2006, EmpirePoker.com is part of PartyPartners, PartyGaming’s affiliate programme. To promote EmpirePoker.com, please contact us to have fresh trackers issued.
4) All existing affiliate deals with Empire do not hold good on the new Empire trackers which will be issued by the PartyGaming affiliate team. Your Affiliate contact will also confirm the deal that PartyGaming will be offering for promoting EmpirePoker.com
Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further clarifications.

Inactivei have a partypoker affiliate account.
But how can I get the Empire Poker refer link ?
Pls helpFebruary 17, 2006 at 7:33 am #683774Anonymous
InactiveThank goodness Tradal is gone off my affiliate list. I’m not going to promote noble or CD right now. I’m “lucky” in the sense that I only have one site to update but Tradal has not had the best reputation around these boards. With their lackluster tracking system, I never knew for sure whether I actually had players there or not. Nowhere near the tracking abilities offered by Income access or… well, anywhere. The rep that I had at Tradal was nice but after hearing about all the stuff tradal pulled and having to update all my trackers from Empirepoker.com to ep.com, I was already trying to find a replacement. I guess this just gets me off my tuckus and gets me moving on finding someone better. Good luck to everyone that this truly effects.

Inactivei only did empire on CPA, but i’m pretty amazed that tradal would sell of their player base and then claim that they don’t owe your affiliate share of the money for your players. 69000 active players for $250 million, or about $3500 per player it would seem they should being paying the affilaites their share for their active players.

InactiveCasino Rewards migrated the player base when they bought Captain Cooks, and I bet Wager Junction plans to migrate the players that came with their new acquisitions.
Party has no intention of migrating player bases, not even those of their own casinos.
The industry is contracting, and also just coming off age, and I predict many more mergers and aquisitions in the very near future.
We are heading for a lot more consolidation in this industry, this time next year the number of programs will have shriveled a lot.
Are we looking at losing all we have worked for all these years – our player base?
I am getting very, very alarmed. Casino Pays didn’t migrate the players from Partnerpage either.
Will we be left behind with empty hands and nothing to show for years of work?
There are programs who care about their affiliates and will migrate the players, and there are those that don’t.
The ones of us who stand to lose the most over the next year are the ones who send players to those programs that will not migrate players because they could really care less about individual affs. They will settle with the largest of affiliates and stiff the rest of us.
Not acceptable! :banger:

InactiveAs soon as I got that email, I emailed Hemant, our rep, and he sent me the new Empire trackers right away. I suggest anyone that hasn’t received their new Empire trackers to contact your rep, you should get them immediately.
Also THRILLED that Party took over Empire!!!!
