You need to have a total no negative carryover for everyone like many of the affiliate programs do. When people like me fall so far into the negative zone, they just wont promote casino pays anymore and they will send players to “no negative carryover” casino programs because thats where the money is for us now.

It’s best for you to totally get rid of negative carryovers so people like me will continue to advertise casino pays and casino pays will make their money back eventually and the affiliate will continue to work for them.

Is it better to make money back from big winners from some affiliates or is it better to cut ties with affiliate and not make ANY money back with those affiliates?

It’s not like I’m going to bring all the huge winners to casino pays, I don’t know whos going to win or not. Eventually players are going to lose and you’ll recover the loses from those huge players.

It’s alot like the stock market roller coaster ride, when the price per share goes red (negative) and you lose money, you know it will always come back up again if you stay put and be patient. Otherwise it would be stupid to sell when it’s low (negative). You are selling by not eliminating the negative carryovers for everyone and permenantly losing affiliates this way so you will ALWAYS be stuck with that negative balance, it never gets a chance to go back up.

The only reason I’m eager to promote casino pays is because your casinos convert very well and had a whale that almost dropped $6,000 in but ended up winning as well as a few other mini-whales.

    Hello Cpay,

I gave you my user name about 2 weeks ago and you said my account manager would contact me. Well… no one has contacted me again and nothing got done.

Oh well, I have a casino affiliate program giving me $80 CPA + 30% revenue share along with NO NEGATIVE CARRYOVERS! So I don’t think I’ll be working for scraps and giving up a part of my revenue share for a no negative carry over policy and service that forgets about me and doesn’t respond. Looks like there is more important things going on at Cpay than caring about the affiliates… also too much greed to eliminate the negative carryover policy like nearly every other program out there does.

This not getting back to people on a private basis is disturbing too.

    Cpays,

I don’t mind sharing my stats with others and maybe someone else can answer it before you do. I don’t need a private response as I feel this is a very public issue on this thread. I started promoting Cpays 4/24/06 and had no activity until 7/20/06. My stats are as follows:

    Jul /Aug

    Deposits $100.00 /$100.00
    Withdrawals $0.00 /$0.00
    Bonuses $350.01 /$1,321.91
    Comps $0.00 /$6.00
    Bets $6,290.38 /$13,485.98
    Wins $5,855.45 /$12,250.20
    Net Gaming $84.92 /($92.13)
    Net Purchase $100.00 /$0.00
    Top Level Revenue $42.46 /($46.07)

    My questions:
    1. I’ve only had 1 “real” player deposit $100 once, and they received a bonus in the amount of $320.01. The other 46 “real” players have not deposited but have received bonuses totaling $1351.91 amongst them which I can assume was the $30 no deposit bonus from Joyland?

    2. Am I earning a 50% negative commission on no deposit bonuses. I’m showing no deposits for August, therefore there should be no Net Gaming Revenue (+ or -) especially since the $100 deposits in July was obviously lost by the player otherwise I would not have received a payment for July.

When looking at the T&C’s Net Revenue is a little more clear as follows:

1.5 Deposit(s) is the funds transferred by Players to their Site account.

1.6 Redeem(s) is any and all funds withdrawn or cashed-out by Players from their Site account plus the amount pending on the players account plus any Deposits reversed (or credits given) by us, in our sole discretion, to negate fraud, error, Player non satisfaction or through charge-backs.

1.7 Casino Net Revenue means the sum of Deposits less Redeems generated on your Tracker(s) based solely on our log files.

    2.3 Pay – Advertising Revenue
We will pay you Advertising Revenue (as defined above) that we earn from players directed from your site after they open an account with us and based on Deposits they make for real money.

    3. There’s no mention that bonuses are included as redeems only credits given “to negate fraud, error, Player non satisfaction or through charge-backs.” As listed above in 2.3 you will only pay me Advertising Revenue based on Deposits for real money, so why are my stats reflecting negative revenue for August?

    4. The Joyland free $30 promotion as a 99x wagering requirement ($30×99=$2970), yet the stats reflect that most of them met that wagering requirement. Please tell me this isn’t so, if it is I must be doing something wrong as I can barely make it to a 15x wagering requirement.

My affiliate id is nautikitten and that’s no secret since it’s on my banner tags.

Thanks to all in advance who may help with my confusion:terms:

    Hi Nauti Kitten,

Please find below the answers to your questions.

Yes this is exactly the case. By promoting free bonus you are taking a chance. It can tremendously increase the total amount of your players, and it can sometimes result in players who take advantage of the bonus but don’t deposit afterwards.

Your account is currently set to 50% commission with negative balance carried – the bonuses count as real money given to players. (I have accented some of the relevant points in the T&C paragraphs you’ve quoted.)

The free bonus is by definition “amount pending on the players account”.

All players lost the free bonus. The wagering requirement is only if a player won with the bonus and requested to cash out the money.

Therefore, the wagering requirement doesn’t have to be met in case of losses.

I hope this answers all your questions. Please feel free to contact me for further assistance.

How about you move over into the spam thread and stop avoiding the issue?

    Cpays,

No, this doesn’t answer my question. I still don’t understand how the casinos can claim a negative Net Gaming Revenue for the month of August.

Sum of Deposits $0 – Funds Withdrawn $0 – Cash Outs $0 – Amount Pending on Players Account $0 (you said all players lost the free bonus) – Deposits Reversed $0 – Credits given . . . $0 = $0

    Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.:rockband:

“the bonuses count as real money given to players.” “All players lost the free bonus.” Therefore, the casinos did not encounter a loss.

I have an accounting background but I’m feeling really inadequate at this point.

Hmm, and I thought this was the Cpays thread. Perhaps your right and the whole Cpays thread should be moved to the spam thread. :hitthefan

    Hello Cpay,

I am still waiting on a confirmation of when these new terms will take effect on my account. Please PM me or let me know as soon as you can so I can put up content.

    Thank You,

    Cpay,

I like to make available to my users casinos that are offering free no deposit sign up offers and I realize by doing so that I may only attract “bonus hunters”, however I’ve never gone in the negative as a result of these free offers because most people lose the free money before meeting the wagering requirements. You said yourself that all those that received the bonus lost it so I am really confused as to why my account is negative, and only continues to get worse. Perhaps I too should be playing at Joyland, but then again, that would really be fair to the affiliate that I signed up under now would it. Since my account is only getting more in the negative each day, wouldn’t it be advisable to not promote this offer.

    Hi,

To be more clear about the negative balance carryover issue:

Yes, CPays do carry forward negative balance. This is not the case in the first 2 months of affiliation where no negative balacnce is carried.

In case an affiliate is interested in having no negative balance carried he can contact his account manager and request it.

    Thanks,
