Any updates?

InactiveAny updates on this? Did the meeting go on as planned? I heard that it was cancelled or something but not sure all I do know is I have not forgotten how these crooks have robbed me and if something is not posted in the next few days on what they plan to do about the stealing of our players we should all once again start pressing hard on their throats.

Yeah would be good if someone from CAP could update us as we were asked to back down and wait for a meeting in London.
Looks like Grand Prive might get away with this after all.

InactiveFrom what I hear the London meeting was cancelled and Grand Prive asked the CAP reps to go to South Africa to discuss the matter.
I also hear that this is going to still be pursued. I’ll post when I have more details as to when these talks will take place.

InactiveThen they can cancel that one and ask to meet at the next one… and so on..

InactiveYep, hopefully will be a bit harder though with CAP folk on the premises where they do their business..

InactiveBottom line is we need a new line of attack to get these crooks to realize we are serious. I for one am not wanting to wait another few months I want something done now everyday that passes affiliates are being robbed and families are being cheated of hard earned money!

Why not plaster the web with real or fabricated player complaints, recommendations to make charge backs etc etc?
All’s fair in love and war… Let them taste some of their own medicine.

So are you saying that to your knowledge, someone from CAP is actually going to get on a plane and fly to Johannesburg and resolve this?
I would imagine they suggested a meeting at their office becuase they know that it’s unlikely that CAP would incur the cost and go to the effort of doing that…
Can someone from CAP confirm what the plan is with this?

InactiveAll I know is that it IS being worked on…

Many many players dont know of this chargeback option
I would never ever tell anyone about.
It could bring players on ideas.Regarding GP
they keep sending CDs with a free bonus to players
Mike´s Dad just got one yesterday with a 25 € FREE! :sarcasm:February 7, 2009 at 11:10 pm #794761Anonymous
InactiveI understand your frustration, and desire to get even.
Believe me, we are all still shocked by the whole thing too.Why not plaster the web with real or fabricated player complaints, recommendations to make charge backs etc etc?
That’s a really bad idea for a lot of reasons, but mainly because if a decent, honest player does this, they will wind up on shit list at all of the casinos in the Microgaming fleet, and probably some others too.
Yes, the processors are common between many casinos, and if someone charges back legitimate losses, it will cause them problems in the future at other casinos unrelated to Grand Prive.
Just not a good thing to do anyway.
If you lose, you lose! No chargebacks.
Chargebacks are bad for everyone in the industry, including honest players. The best thing players could do to help affiliates in this situation is to just stop playing the casinos, and don’t support the new one, Villa Fortuna.
If they relent, and make things right, then fine, we can move forward from there.

InactiveVery well said CPA. Chargebacks help no one and only cause unnecessary problems if they are not legit. Please do not even consider doing that ever.

It would be nice if whomever is working on this would give us some updates.
