GuestHi,
I think it should be made very clear that as it is that many of us do have close relationships with our players that considering the numbers involved … that it would be entirely foolish to say one thing and do another.
In other words if they want the blacklist lifted … then once they have returned to honoring their agreements with us .. that if it should be discovered that a player we know is signed up with them … is playing and we don’t get credit (commission) … that while being reasonable people and that we will understand if this should be discovered … once … or maybe twice … but that if it is discovered in such quantity that it is obvious they have NOT returned to giving us credit on every player we sent them …
that the blacklist and boycott will go up again and this time for good.
I think it is important affs make a stand that will not be forgotten any time soon. I think we have (obviously) made an impact already.
They were willing to snub us knowing how this would work out. or you’d think any intelligent thinking person would have figured that such action would result in a severe reaction from the aff community.
That if you read warnings about a place on even a few sites … the average intelligent person will choose to avoid that site regardless of whether what is said is true … because who needs to take the risk?
Well now they’re willing to talk. That tells me we”re making a hell of an impact and I say DO NOT turn off the heat.
No reason to increase it … but I don’t see why anybody should be in a hurry to take down anything they’ve already put up.
If they want the matter settled quickly … then quickly return to a fair and honorable approach.
my 2 cents.
:hattip: WTG Lou and CAP and all Forums and AFFs who participated. you …. YOU are making the difference!

vladcizsolMemberNothing gets turned off until a resolution is reached.
As BB1 pointed out correctly it’s heat that provided the motivation to seek a solution and its heat that will maintain that motivation. Please DO keep up your efforts.
Collectively we will prevail.
Its an old farmers axium that sometimes you gotta hit a mule with a 2×4 to get his attention. CAP and its members did just that. Know we gotta get the mule back on track and headed in the right direction. Thats what we are working on our end and will hopefully complete in London.

LucretiaMemberhow many other new casinos do they have apart from the villa fortuna casino where grand prive can send our players to ??
Maybe we get them on the right path again, but that means this sick patatient needs to be watched closely 24/7 for new attempts.
R.
Villa Fortuna Casino, Bella Vegas, Casino GrandBay : blacklisted online casinos for online gambling : stay away and do not play.

InactiveThe Professor is right this link exchange that we have all come together on has put on the heat and the hurt to the owners and we must continue to apply that pressure. I have a feeling that they put off these talks until London (I may add they have a set of brass ones to show up in London where there are going to be 100’s of pissed off affiliates) hoping that this will die out or the next forum drama will arise and put them on the back burner. Let me say to you Grand Prive I will personally make sure this issue stays alive and thriving on ALL the affiliate forums for the next few weeks :hattip:
This issue will not die out, You pick CAP to mediate for you that is cool and very wise of you but remember there are several other forums out there that do support this cause and this is not a circus act, I personally take offense to that by the way. You Grand Prive are the ring masters and YOU have started this so called circus act not us the affiliates!

DITTO!
Grand Prive can also count on ME to NOT let it die and I also hope they show up at the conference with some great news along with a check or I’ll be picketing/protesting directly in front of their both every single day that I’m there sporting signs to express how I feel about being cheated. :hattip:

InactiveNo matter what way they come up with to bargain themselves out of this situation I don’t think it will be successful. I think everyone realises that the last time this happened with their cross selling, the learning experience from having made a wrong decision just wasn’t there. Regardless of how they resolve this now expect to be screwed again further down the road. As a side note Microgaming’s non response is quite troubling as well.

vladcizsolMemberI think resumption of commissions payments would go a long way towards restoring legitimacy to the Grand Prive Group/Villa Fortuna and its certainly a far cry from where we are now. Lets work towards that goal rather then give them the impression that all hope is lost and they might as well move on without affiliates.
Goldfinger dont assume Microgaming hasnt been working on this issue as well. :wink-wink

InactiveAre they being allowed a booth? I had no idea they were having a booth. Don’t get me wrong I am all for a talk and a resolution that is really great but I am not going to stop the fight.

Hi again all,
it has to be that way. There can be no quarter given nor asked.
Perhaps they didn’t realize it … but this is life and death for us affs and EVERYONE needs to understand the ramifications of not having this issue completely turned around.
Personally nothing less will do at this point. Be different if they’d approached us in the start instead of screwing us and then laying back to see if we yelped.

InactiveI’m glad to see they are interested in working this out with us.
I hope Professors’ talks with them produce a deal.
I have actually written up a proposal for discussing the technicalities of coming up with a framework for us to begin a class action lawsuit.
Certainly not my preference to have to persue legal options, but if this group is not intent on reversing course after Professors discussions are complete, then you can believe I will be posting the message I have drafted on a class action lawsuit.

vladcizsolMemberI will have to verify this with Alex, but I do not believe they have a booth at CAP Euro London. I can assure you if we dont get this resolved there wont be any booth space at any of our future events for them either.

Inactivei don’t see what kind of :deal” they need to be given? the deal is….pay us and keep paying us for our affiliiate …period. end of story…..no deal needed.!!
