interesting idea…. I just had a quick thought and just as another sugestion would be to make that domain a Whitelable Casino – after all if it did get to no.1 for “casino” I would say an actual casino would be more lucrative ?
Im sure someone here could negotiate a 50% or more commission for a whitelable and not only that, being in page 1 for “casino” would also get its fair share of affiliates(aside from the affiliates here) too.
question is would 100 x webmasters with say average 5 sites = 500 Quality links – would this be enough to get to page 1 in Google ?
Also we would need a domain that’s out of the sand box – or one that’s at least been online/indexed for 6-9 months(parked domains don’t count)
Also would it be worthwhile if it was split between 100 webmasters ?
Depends how much it could make ? – post your opinion how many real money players you would get for a nice look whitelable casino would get if it was on page 1 of google ?….. sorry allfreechips for going off on a tangent
thoughts are good but spreading that out over all aff’s would not be as lucrative I think for having a week at promoting anything you want right. In your week it could be a white label!
Also I would go for keeping all older pages as the content value would be huge if its new content each week, then we keep the old as well as everyones offers from the past!
the more I think about this the better.
Everone can update the title / keywords and description each week as well, and that will stay with your page even when it is no longer the index.
Some sites are going to have huge clout as far as linking value goes, and some very little.

Good point, and that will be up for discussion.. this is currently a throw it out there and lets make it work as a group idea right now.
it can be as simple as credits per link per PR? although I think PR is a bad guage but its somthing to go on..
Say you need so many credits per day of viewing or somthing rather than a flat each week it rotates? With the thought of keeping past content the idea of only having your page for 1 day is actually not bad anymore.
Good idea but i think the problem is how do you decide what week . if you have 50 people helping out then some one has to wait 1 year before they get there ads shown?
What i think would work more fairly is a banner rotation , every visitor shown a random ad from one of the partners .

Say there are 10 – 15 slots on the main page.. each person creates a slot ahead of time, each day a new one is added and the bottom one goes to page 2 and so on…
so 10 people have somthing on the main page every day! and of course your older information is behind that and editable of course so you can update any offers and such?

I have to say this is somewhat of an exciting proposal to me, as we all are good at what we do, this may be a way we all work together and share our abilities.

im in, also 4 sites pr 4 could link inbut there is a lot of planning and discussion ahead,
we will need rules, people having different functions,etc.we might need to set up a kind of association or society
I like the slots idea. Where everyone has a part of the site and it rotates every refresh or day. I have a couple sites I would be willing to link to this site with. 2 pr4 and 1 pr6.

Sounds like a great idea but I also agree that it needs further discussion. I have two PR4 sites which I can link from.
I think we need to decide on a number of webmasters that will be in the project. As the smaller it is the easier to control but the less seo power. So we need a happy medium. Also I think we need to decide who own’s the domain that we use as I think it will become valuable if it start dominating.
Maybe we should have everyone submit one domain that they think we can use of their own portfolio….Then members of the project vote on the best one.

Without having an attourny talk to every single one. I would think a sign up agreement would be good and binding as it is printable/ dated and such but I am no expert on that.
Also would want the domain name to be locked into the group, ie owner can not end it one day and run off with it, although it would quickly fall if all links were removed I think, you know what I mean.
