There’s a list of UK online Bingo sites and where they’re licensed here:

White Listed & Non White Listed Online Bingo Sites

which will come in handy for those doing online bingo focusing on the UK market.

All properties in our affiliate program will have licenses in Malta by the September 1st deadline.

    Sunpoker.com
    Omni Casino
CSCasino.com – formerly the Sands of the Caribbean.

    Best Regards,

    1. I just spoke with Casino Rewards in Oz. Both Renee and Yaniv are out of the office today, but a very helpful lady Daniella is making sure they respond to my query in re their white listing with the EEC urgently.

She asked in the office and was told that CR will definitely be legal by September 1st but couldn’t tell me if Kahnawake had been approved or if they had simply bought a Malta license.

I expect to hear a response by tomorrow – or CR will post both here and at GPWA.

    2. I have posted queries in both Brightshare and WagerShare forums and have a call in to Jeff at Casino Blasters. Also, have sent an email to Nicole at Roxy Palace and expect a reply soon.

Great work ntaus. Keep us posted on the results.

I’m sure it doesn’t make sense for any online gambling site to stay in a country that won’t be on the white list. The UK may have set the precedence but the whole of Europe will quickly follow.

    Hi All,

Thought it most efficient to post the BrightShare position here:

The owners of the Jackpot Factory Group – SquareIT – are in the process of applying for a license in Malta.

In parallel, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission has applied to be white-listed by the EEC.

We hope that at least one of these two activities will be completed within the next 6-8 weeks.

Regarding your continuing to promote our client’s casinos in compliance with the new UK law and regulations:

    1. If your site is not a co.uk or other specific UK site (for example org.uk) there is NO need to remove our casinos if you’re not specifically targeting UK players.

    2. If your site is a co.uk or any other domain with a British flag, the decision is up to you and we cannot advise you how to act.

    3. The affiliate’s country of residence is not an issue.

Hope this clarifies the situation visavis the Jackpot Factory casinos.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.

    Later,
    Marcia

    Hmmm not sure about that
If you have a .com site and live in the UK you’d still be liable, unless you geo-target your ads.

Contacted live help at WagerShare and Tim was on another line – but left a message and he is to call me.

Can’t reach Nicole at Roxy on the phone – was I too late – I know they’re five hours ahead and my time was 10:45 am Eastern.

Left an in-house message on Casino Blasters system for Jeff and am waiting for a reply.

Looks like we all have to take Brightshare down for the time being…

Staying on it – there isn’t a lot of time. Will post again.

    Whoa! Maybe I wasn’t clear:

There is NO reason to take down BrightShare clients from non-UK sites (.com .net .org .dk .es – and so on…)

It is up to you (we cannot advise you what to do) regarding UK sites and/or the British flag pages on non-UK sites.

    Hope this is clearer….

    No Marcia – it’s a misunderstanding.

I’m taking Brightshare off my new site that is co.uk and not yet uploaded because of all this furore with the white list. I will re-list you as soon as you get legal.

Of course, you guys will stay on my US sites now hosted in the UK.

    Hope that’s clear :)

OK, let me get this clear…

    .co.uk sites have to compy.

.com sites are ok so long as you’re not actively advertising in the UK, even although you may be a UK based Webmaster or host in the UK?

    Is my understanding correct?

And while we’re on the subject… Are we allowed to mention deposit bonuses, including banners? Is that factual or inciting to gamble?

If it’s inciting, we’ll have to change all our banners to focus on the games rather than the promotions.

Hi guys – (is there a lawyer in the house?)

Our lawyer is checking with UK lawyers regarding the issue of country of residence. When I get a definitive lawyer’s ruling, I’ll let you know….

I have no idea about the mentioning of deposit bonuses…. but I can tell you that at BrightShare we have quite a large collection of game-only banners. And our free game banners link to our free games – so that is certainly not “inciting to gamble.”
