    I agree Webcaz’s post above 100%.

@ LandofOz: Yes, this term was newly implemented and retroactively applied.

    Dave is spot on here!

If I can be frank as well, kill and destroy changes like these aren’t made on a whim. They come from high up the chain of command. I dare say even the top brass at Brightshare can do very little.

Hence chastising these places where it hurts, their income, is the only thing these head honchos understand. For them it’s all about numbers. Guaranteed commissions on “life of the player” and promises. Hell all these virtues which separate good people from rogues are alien to these type. So why should they be treated any different.

Hitting their back pockets hard is the only language they understand and respect!

So brightshare of no good anymore? Rewards Affiliates sucks for a while I believe and Wagershare is also a no go. What Microgaming program do you prefer, is still ok and a fair program?

I’ve promoted 32Red Plc since they open in 2002/03. It’s the only casinos I play at these days too. I don’t make dollars hand over fist with them but I do make money month in month out.

They treat both players and affiliates extremely well and most importantly they are 100% above board; no funny stuff here at all.

The only recommendation I’d add, if you are going to promote them market just one casino brand because they bundle. Other than that, your on a winner with the 32Red affiliate program.

I am promoting them, not much luck here. What about fortune affiliates, referback and red returns?

I would say Referback can be trusted, they are very professional with great retention too

I had my commission cut @ Referback (I had an individual deal after meeting in person with them at an affiliate conference – I brought in a couple of big players – that disappeared after 1 month) had to talk with my aff manager 10 times to get an actual answer. I think some of these microgaming affiliate programs still do business like it’s the 1980’s, with half assed answers to questions, not answering questions, answering but not answering – I’m giving most of them the axe. Plus their deductions are maddening – here’s an example

(this is not referback details but I’m sure it is similar – also my commission was cut that this aff program as well with no notice)
    Casino(s) Income $50.41
    Microgaming Fees $21.70— ?
    Banking Processing Fees $02.02 — ?
    Carry Over $00.00
    Charge Backs $00.00
    Charge Back Reversals $00.00
    Nett Profit $26.69
    Commission % 45%
    2nd Tier Commission $00.00
    Commission $12.01

Hi Warren, it is not just Brightshare. Roxy Affiliates have also been closing down accounts of long time affiliate partners, citing lack of promotion.

Would be good, if you could seriously consider kicking to the kerb and suspending any sponsorship by a program who make retroactive changes or in the case of Roxy carry out ‘rogue’ practices.

Bringing them back on if and when they relent and see the error of their ways.

Frankly, going around the houses for weeks or months on end hoping to get a resolution is not the way to deal with programs who follow this course. As they still benefit from exposure on sites such as your own, here at CAP.

    Just my 2 cents.

The one and only correct answer.

I’ve just finished removing all promotions, reviews and links to Brightshare casinos. Have also reinstated DOCH and added posts to both AWAA (still need to add links).

Links have been added to DOCH to other sites who have pages. :D

Aren’t they nice to think about us affiliates like that!?!?

    Thanks!

(I’ll get all their links removed my next update.)

FACT is BS aka Spiral Solutions aka Spin Spark aka aka aka aka has been stealing from affiliates for years, they’ve just decided to put it in writing now.

There have been numerous issues over the years, each one has gotten swept under a rug and forgotten – will this one too? Probably.

    Hi Dave and others,

We’ve had some internal discussion around this and I’ve also put some further thought into it.

BrightShare is being suspended from CAP immediately pending the outcome of our discussion with their management and since we do not have a material relationship with Alan (owner of Roxy), they will be rogued immediately with the ability to apply for removal of their rogue stamp on CAP if they remove the retroactive terms. Going forward, we are prepared to suspend any program on CAP who institutes such predatory terms retroactively.

Thanks everyone for their input and I will keep everyone informed of our discussions and the outcome with BrightShare.

    Best,
    Warren

Brilliant, at least you and AGD are being pro active. I will find myself here and there more often from now on unlike some other so called protectors of affiliate interests.

And I know on this site, there are some true fighters for affiliates rights, they know who they are.

Warren, bloody hell… I hoped for it, but I’m not sure I was expecting it. Top, top marks.
