InactiveI agree with you Capt..
But positive changes don’t just mean earnings go up. For me my earnings are not that bad there right now, however new players is horrible. Something is not right there.
Dom you said only 25% of the players come from affiliates. Hmm cuz 20% of loss traffic from affiliates is normal according to Yali. Wonder what % are ordering cd’s, and whatever else might be going on. So on the books it may look like only 25% are coming from affiliates but in actual figures I wonder what it is?

Obviously more. Likely a lot more, but if it’s not credited to affiliates it’s hard to guess.
If there wasn’t a point in having affiliates drive traffic, Connie would not have been brought in at all.
At 25% plus the 20% that is lost you have 45% already, and that does not include the stolen traffic that goes to CDs.
A very valuable sales force indeed. Dirt cheap.

InactiveI have always been the strongest proponent of Casino Coins an although I have not watched them as closely as I have I now understand all the fuss that is being made.
I am quite confident we do not get credit for these CD’s and it should be a simple fix for CC to give affiliates a different page without this.
I am reducing my traffic to them significantly as this is just plain wrong. Connie, take this to the top if you are reading this and to the top I mean the very top.
When it gets to the point I pull the traffic then this should send up some flags that by pulling this CD move you have indeed decided not to be in the afilliate business.
If that is the case then just tell us and we can make business decisions based on this, that way if you decide to come back into the afilliate business we will not all have bad feelings.
Email or call me if you want but it would be best to post here for all.

InactiveBrian, this is the private forum.
There is a casino coins thread up in the public section too.
Connie will not be able to see this, it is meant to stay just among us.
But you can bring it up in the public section too.

GuestPlease do, Brian. That was an excellent post. CC needs to see it IMHO.

InactiveHey Professor, how about that alternate color scheme idea in the private forums? This is another good reason it would be helpful.

vladcizsolMemberGood Idea Ken, but I dont think we can do it. I will put my thinking cap on and try to come up with something, but short of installing a seperate forum I dont see how we can do it.

InactiveI know vBulletin 3 has the ability to set a custom style for each forum, and it never occurred to me that it might be a new feature in v3. If it’s not natively available in this version of the forum software, it’s definitely not worth the trouble.
Thanks as always.

InactiveYou can’t believe how lost I am on these boards, not only yours prof but all. It is a wonder I can generate any traffic at all:hehe:
I will paste it in the public forum as well. I also sent Connie an email asking her to contact me.

vladcizsolMemberI just got off the phone with Casino Coins and Connie plans on announcing what they are doing on the CD issue this afternoon. I invited her to post in the Public Area about what they are doing to address everyones concerns.

vladcizsolMemberBased on Connies initial post it looks like she wants to play coy. Let her know what the concerns you guys have regarding performance, tracking, conversions, CDs, Yali or anything else…

InactiveWell Coins contacted me today.
Saying that tracking on cd’s will happen tomorrow. Now this is not hard coded tracking on cd’s.. What was explained is they will track the sign up page, then they will match up by email address when the person finally does download. So there is much room for error on this. Many will never post actual email address on the web that would be used in a casino. So big chance for no credit.
It was a step.Others opinion on this would be great. If you think they can do this then I am all ears.
Also would like to test this out as well.. So may have some people in different parts of the world signing up to get cd and making a purchase to see if it actually shows up..

This confuses me.
So the person signs on via the CD which has no code. Then they are asked to leave their email and that will be matched against all the hits produced by all the affs – during what time period? Eternity? A week?
That doesn’t sound practical, and I doubt they will search all affiliate accounts for emails matching clicks a month or two or more back.
I am very sceptical.

InactiveIf the match is by email alone, its not the best idea since many people use more than one … it should go according to mailing/billing address, name etc … as long as one matches
then you get credit … otherwise too much loss.

InactiveNot sure on physical address… ( I do agree that would make it better )
But tracking is suppose to be done by affiliate on the sign up page. And stored somewhere I guess.
I think they will most likely announce this in the forum tomorrow. So will be able to ask them then.
Personally I have a lack of trust with them right now. Since there tracking is not that great now and to add another thing to it.
