vladcizsolMemberThieves are prosecuted and if I catch them in my house they are shot. The excuse that the lock is busted holds no weight with judges or angry italians with large calibre hand guns.

InactiveWe can all agree this is very bad in every way, but most blame has to go to the software first. Posting a no tresspassing sign and having a few gold bars in the middle of your yard is what they are trying here. I assume the affiliate with the e-book is on CPA and is actually exploiting a hole that should not exsist, but knowing he is doing so would make me remove them all together as an affiliate.

InactiveThe excuse that the lock is busted holds no weight with judges
That’s very true.
But if you do not fix your lock and the cops have to come 10 times a day every day to investigate a robbery at your house, one day they will just say “Well, fix your door lock already!”…Not to mention that your neighbours will petition for your removal from the community because you bring way too much crime with your open doors and you are endangering other people’s lifes, and lower the property value of their locked homes.
When you bring 1 bonus abuser out of 10 players becuase the casino’s bonus T&C are way too loose, at the end when they close your account, you will suffer 10 times more than the casino. That’s why every affiliate should push for better bonus T&C across all online casinos.
I am sure that a few brainiacs from this forum could get together and create bulletproof bonus T&C and then the casinos could use it as a building block and just fill in the casino name and bonus $?

InactiveStupid wrote:Since you did not post the actual casino name, I can only comment on the e-book content – which says that the casino’s bonus T&C allow you to deposit, get the bonus and immediatelly withdraw your money. If this is not stupid, I dont know what is.Most Casinos award the welcome bonus immeadiately, however, it looks to me like there is a problem with the play-through requirement. It either does not work or is not implemented, which incidently, is put in place to prevent such abuse.
Just as an FYI – it is not any of my ebooks.

InactiveBonus structures are an entirely different discussion, and a worthwhile one and it deserves it’s own thread.
Pointing out that the software needs fixing is stating the obvious, I am quite sure the casino knows this.
This is not a discussion about bonuses or faulty software, it is a discussion about unethical advertising practices and about an affiliate using CAP to pressure the casino after being locked out.
When we have a fellow affiliate posting negative things about a casino, it warns other affiliates off doing business with that casino.
I can see why the casino would complain about this, I would be pissed too.
Obviously this affiliate did something unethical. In all parallel brick and mortar situations he would be in jail, and not spreading negative publicity about this casino.
I don’t know who the casino is either, but on this count they do not deserve to be publicly chastised, and I don’t like to see CAP being used in that way.
So whoever you are, cut it out!

vladcizsolMemberSorry Caruso you arent an affiliate and you arent welcome here.

InactiveWhen affiliates promote bonus abuse and encourage players to rip off casinos we ALL LOSE. Please take the high road and market responsibly.
I agree with everything you’ve said in this string 100% Professor.. thank you for bringing attention to this problem. Like you said, when this kind of fraudulent activity is being taught and encouraged as a way of promoting, we all lose in the end.

Dom is right unethical advertising needs to be exposed and stopped at all cost and to use CAP is indeed very wrong!

Inactive“…But the great thing about this casino is that it will allow you to immediately withdraw your initial deposit right back into your bank account leaving you with the same amount FREE in your casino account….”
IMO this is just flat out wrong for an affiliate to say and advise people to do. I agree with your statement Professor and I’m glad that the issue was brought to the table.
No one in their right mind would want to have something like this done to them. Just because someone has a problem/issue does not give anyone the right to exploit it. We all make mistakes and I’m sure no one want to be taken advantage of it because of it.
The casino is perfectly within it’s rights NOT to deal with someone with that type of mentality. I hurts everyone involved.

Inactivehey all :hattip:
well, im not going to get into the rights and wrongs, but that kind of ebook has been going around for AGES, so not so sure why its popped up now
i started gambling affiliating about jan 2006 and i remember seeing almost 100% the same wording in an ebook i bought off ebay back then.
you can also find 1000’s of these on ebay right now.anyhow, im going to throw a spanner in the works as i “think” its ok for the affiliate to advertise it. If its in there T&C that ppl can cash out after making the deposit – then tough luck to the casino – change your T&C if you dont like it – Very simple
so how about this….
Maybe i should moan that the casino is cheating me because they only pay me 36-1 on a 37-1 (38 usa) chance roulette table lol ………..
You cant have rules, but expect people to only use the rules for the casinos liking……. if you dont like the rules you have, then change them – dont moan about people using your own rules
i guess on a 60mph speed limit it would be OK for a copper to pull you over saying well……… “you were going exactly 60 mph – dont you think that a bit much ?” and giving you greef over it – Thats not right is it ?
Exploitation isnt bad (well it is, but its the norm)…… as thats the world we live in – i bet you ALL exploit your Tax laws, i know i do – a computer here a trip there, you accountant says “hey did you know you can claim this and that etc etc ……… which is just explioting the tax law…….if they dont like it – then the law gets changed – otherwise stfu
anyhow im a bit tipsy and this post is my opinion and not a dig at anyone at all, just my humble opinion …….. ok time for a :rasta:
Also, (sorry bonustreak) but gambling affiliates talking about “unethical” advertising is a bit funny when i think about it.
:stirpot:
A casino that offers you “FREE” money is “unethical” as far as im concerned as they know most gamblers will lose that money and there deposit
its like luring kids into a candy store – NOT ethical at all really
Anyhow im not calling anyone here bad etc (or no bader then me as i still do advetise and promote casinos with bonuses)

Inactivesorry, just reminds me when i used to be good at fruit machines (slots) as a kid – i did NOTHING wrong but because i used to win from them i got banned from loads of arcades (places where theres loads of slots) – Which is Fuxxed up
They should have a sign outside saying – “Only losers allowed here – sorry although we advertise good winnings – we do not allow anyone to actually win”

truthMemberThis thread brings up an interesting point.
Who is an affiliate loyal to the casino or their customer? Obviously if it’s the Casino then by allrights this is bad. But if you are loyal to your customer you should be doing everything you can to help them succeed in making money.
