What Browser do you use?

Martyn asked 3 years ago
Hi all, a couple of things got me thinking on this today and I wondered what your preferred choice of browser was. I have listed a couple in the poll but feel free to post what other browser you use as well as chosing the other option.

I was born n bred on IE but sometimes switch to Firefox (rare though).

Cheers,

M

I’m a IE person, but use Fire Fox when I’m working on my site via Dreamweaver.

As a developer, it’s best to develop in Firefox as that one is more fussy. If it works in FF (and Chrome) it will probably work in IE. I made that mistake with slotjunkies.info and it looks shite in FF. Can’t be arsed to re-do it though LOL.

However, I far prefer IE for browsing as everything loosk a little better and works. In FF I always come across sites that break, Microgaming ActiveX games don’t work along with other similar apps. I also find FF infuriatingly clunky. Google Chrome is way quicker but I still get a few website issues.

Also, for some wierd reason, FF and Chrome render fonts a little oddly on my PC – they seem almost italicised, rough around teh edges, and nothing I can do changes that.

IE every time for me :hattip:

Still early days but my thoughts exactly. :wink-wink

Firefox 95% of the time, sometimes browse with Chrome for a change (Google browser – very lightweight).

Surprised that IE is in the lead at the moment on a webmaster forum.

I use firefox 95% of the time

Only go back to IE when I need to verify how a site looks…

Much less problems with Firefox for me!

Always firefox, unless I’m testing compatability on one of my sites. Tried to get used to chrome but getting used to a new browser is like trying to find a new way to breathe.
