LOL, all I have to say is: http://pokerrakebackdeals.co.uk/

See, not everyone is perfect.

Welcome aboard John… good to see some PAP representation over here too <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

LOL. Say what? What’s wrong with PRD ? It’s still under construction fwiw. It’s also very sound SEO-wise, which is after all what we are discussing….(I think it’s actually #3 on Google for “poker rakeback deals”)

Hi Alex,

No big deal at all. I told CAP when I applied that the company website has not been updated for years and apologized for the poor site design. But going back to the reference towards the website, I have no need or the time to spend on updating and optimizing shieldmarketing.com at this point. When you are busy all day with clients and have done this as long as I have, time is money.

The thing I learned in my years of working is that everyday things change and what works today often does not work down the road. Staying on top of things is my best advise, and again my bad about the old site, it shouldn’t of even been posted on here.

all fair points Brad. Time is indeed money and I know what you mean.. Time is best focused on other entities as long as you are happy you can get enough work etc (I also need to update my own biz website, but have no instant incentive)

You are also damned right about the dynamic nature of SEO.. what works last quarter sure isn’t guaranteed to work this or next Quarter.. Looking forward to some interesting discussions.

Alex if you agree to the general terms for being a moderator in the SEO area I will be happy to add you. We really do need all the feedback and points of view possible. SEO is not a precise science as it shifts constantly and affiliates, especially newbies, always appreciate an experienced source to turn to.

Here are requirements, lets get you started if thats ok:

1. Answer affiliate questions regarding SEO. .
2. Be courteous with posters. Rudeness is not acceptable.
3. Be proactive about developing participation in your forum area
4. Initiate new threads and conversations regarding SEO within your forum area. Updates on Google, Yahoo!, Link Exchange Optimization etc… are all popular topics.
5. Do not focus on promoting your own portals. An occasional post is fine, but it cannot be your primary communications with affiliates.

Can we count on you?

Hi Prof,
I would be more than happy to help out, and therefore agree to your terms. <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

not meaning to be a dick.. BUT :

Interesting to see that http://www.shieldmarketing.com is actually using tables for layout, is bloated and using deprecated html elements. Ironic for a “search engine specialist” imo.

slotsgeek has abysmal on-site SEO too, and again contains a lot of bloat, a poor code to content ratio and copious other schoolboy SEO errors. Pr2 isn’t exactly an impressive metric too imo.

where did you find these guys?

I expect there to be arguments about SEO. It’s a good thing, you learn more that way.

That is definitely true! Nice post!
