Hello,

I saw the “how much do you make as an affiliate poll” and thought…hmm… I wonder how much everyone is making after all the advertising expenses and paying yourself a moderate wage for your work.

I’d say figure your pay at like $15/hr.

You’re all my hero’s! I read this forum everyday, every message! Somedays (okay most) I’m here more than once! I’m kind of at a stale point right now, as I belive I have shared with you all, My sites started on yahoo, and then moved to Angelfire. I am working now.. after ten years of writing html in Angelfire (mostly for fun.. I’m not THAT old yet <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />( ) on learning to do these tiny little things like

1. Register a domain (think I have that 1 all figured out (YAY!)
2. Finding a hosting company, and figuring out how that works!
3. Learning FTP (its sad isnt it!)
4. Grasping PHP atleast enough to make an intelligent forum decision.. and working from there…

BUT ..

I am actually now making WHOLE dollars an hour! ( I know I know you are all very impressed <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> )

I actually make over 70K a year and in 05 it was 114K. I do it alone and used to spend 8 hours at least a day working at it putting my site on top 100 portals and stuff like that.

I paid $ 500 to an SEO outfit 3 years ago and not a dime since. I pay $49 a month to host my casino site and $52 every 6 months for my poker site. And believe it or not, I spend $168 every other month for traffic campaigns and that’s it.

I haven’t a clue how to market my sites and most of my customers are loyal and have been with me for 8 years with alot of them being high rollers. The casinos that allowed me to quit my job 3 years ago hasn’t made me enough to fill up my car and the ones that haven’t made me a dime in the last year is about the same as $18 an hour for a full time job.

I don’t know….go figure…….Where’s my high rollers?????

I left something out…..about the putting gas in my car analogy. Since December, the affiliate program where I averaged over 10K a month in November for example, was $11263 made me $353 in December and $56 in January.
