Constantly. I get emails whenever any one of several thousand websites and/or pages get a PR change and I get them every day. It’s a mixture of regional results (google.es, .nl, .com).

As far as a blanket update? The last was 190 days ago.

The update actually happened the beginning of November. It devalued .info domains and backlinks from lower PR sites (like blogs). These updates are rolling updates as well. I have hundreds of colleagues in the states (being that’s where I freelanced for 9 years) that reported this then, but it didn’t really take hold in the UK except on TLD’s (top level domains like .com, .org, and .net.) This is typical of these updates; they roll out in the states, Google takes feedback and tweaks, then repeat this process for a few weeks. Then they roll it out to UK domains, then the remaining European domains, and finally the Asian market. As I mentioned I am still seeing daily PR increases and decreases on UK and EU domains. Unfortunately there is no apparent trending that I have ever been able to identify besides what I just mentioned.

Yea, usually its 90 days but again, these are constant and rolling updates so their really is no set schedule. Your PR is adjusted almost daily without you ever noticing it, except if you see a rise or fall in the SERPs. I use tools like Firefox with the SEOQuake plugin, IBP Link Assistant to find and grade existing backlinks or manually look at the attributes of a potential link that I am targeting to determine the relevancy and the other elements that are beneficial in acquiring backlinks. PR is historically based rather than statically.

Ask away. No question is too novice and I’ve made it my mission to give 100% accurate information (I do a ton of testing) to CAP Members as they have done so much for me. I am also a Moderator over at SEO Chat and have always been very transparent and to the point. These are all SEO’s of different knowledge levels just like here.

Ask ANY question and I’ll answer it to the best of my ability, or go and find the answer!

On a side note, I’m trying to spend more time in the site evaluation section but those take a considerable amount of time.
