If you purchased, rented, borrowed, or leased the list, in fact if you acquired any other way than capturing the emails yourself, it will be considered spam….

Not necessaily, why do you assume the players/people signing up to the list haven’t consented to being contacted by third parties?

I’ve put together a guide for affiliates called ‘Emailing on Budget’ that you might find useful if you operate a small-to-medium size mailing list in your affiliate promotions, or are thinking of doing so.

Running complementary email campaigns to bolster your general website activities can have a good pay-off, as it gives you a decent second-line audience, who may well be a bit more responsive than general web visitors (they have, after all, willingly given you their email addresses!).

The guide is aimed at people who may wish to send emails via their normal Outlook mail clients, but you may also find the general principle useful if you run the open source Thunderbird mail client, which also supports mail merge functions.

To get your copy of this exclusive guide, simply email us now at affiliates@market-ace.com.

Cheers,

Jon

I have been using a autoresponder for my mailing list of and on for a year or so. I offer a free guide to my visitors if they subscribe. I have a bunch of other guide that I send out in follow up emails.

I also use it for member of my affiliate program. This allows me to contact all my affiliates and update them about new marketing tools.

If you need a free gift to reward your subscribers, I will be more than happy to help you out with it. It is rebrandable and can also earn you money by giving it away free.

If you need a autoresponder, I wrote a review of the one I use at http://thebettorguide.com/affiliates/autoresponders/
