I’ll admit that I go to something uber geeky – board game conferences.
I’d go to a star trek conventions also if any where near by. And I sometimes make it out to video game conferences – some I just avoid like the plague.

I sometimes attend investment conferences about real estate investing and the stock market. I don’t mind going if they don’t try to sell you anything. If I see them trying to get phone numbers and signatures at the end of the conference, it turns me off and I leave very quickly (and unnoticed) lol

It would be nice if there were SEO marketing conferences in Australia. We dont get the same size as you do in the US and other parts of the world.

I should have phrased that more properly.. it would be nice if there were more advanced SEO marketing conferences.
They seem to be a lot of beginner ones. Because there are only 1-2 (Australian Search Summit which is replaced with Search marketing Expo) .. you dont get that variety.
Theres one coming up in November, which I hope to attend.
