Article content guidelines

Bullajami asked 3 years ago
Been doing some reading about how to have high quality website content, but I want to make sure I have my facts straight:

  • 3 or 4 keywords per article
  • roughly 5% keyword density per page (not just the article)
  • About 500 words per article
  • formatted so that readers can easily scan for keywords and phrases they are looking for

Have I got it right and/or left anything out?

500 words is a kind of arbitrary number. Articles should be like a woman’s skirt: long enough to cover the important stuff, but short enough to be interesting. <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Nice analogy, thanks!
