All my websites went to PR0

jorisdekkers asked 3 years ago
Has anyone else had this? Is this because google is going to update pagerank or is it because i sell links (like so and so many other websites do)?? I just did a huge directory submitting service, would that be the problem?

Really frustrating if you build your pagerank up to pr3 and pr 2 (including innerpages) on http://www.yesfreecash.com , http://www.dominateonlinepoker.com and http://www.dominatesportsbetting.com and now its gone

Google must hate me

Anyone got an explanation?

pr for many gambling sites are dropping .I personally think google has a thing against us.I have directories pr6 with pr5 catagories and the gambling catagories still pr0 even though it is the most populated catagory -33 websites are there.Meanwhile a new ‘british websites’ catagory with only 1 site is pr5.I gave up trying to understand pr lol

where can i check my google webmaster inbox to see if i got messaged by google?

I have seen the error warning in Diagnostics
web crawl and content analysis

at the Dashboard right side there is also a message center
but I had no messages there.

i ll look in to that

fixing redirect 301 is not an issue at all and it can never be the reason for lowering pr

where can i check my google webmaster inbox to see if i got messaged by google?

Since Google banned my forum last year
I feel with posters of such posts,
I am myself still scared to make any mistakes and getting banned again,

Now I have own websites – (no freeboards or freehostings for me anymore) and the free forum i just let run for now til I have the new Vbulletin ready to go.

What i would like to ask Joris Dekkers…
did you not get any warnings in google webmaster tools?
I watch my account almost daily.
And for Mikes Dutch site I just got warnings for to short descriptions on some pages.

So I am wondering now , would google warn you before they penalize or even ban you?

My best wishes to you Joris Dekkers
I hope all will be ok again

I’d definately fix the canonical issue Dom mentioned.

But I was looking at your yesfreecash. Why do you have so many links (I highlighted a few in bold below from your copy) on the home page that just link to the home page?

“as your free bonus guide and the YesFreeCash free bet e-book
With the advent of the internet came the advent of free money
“Big poker rooms like party poker or online casinos like Euro Casino don’t mind”

I count 10, 12 if you include the logo and the home button. Perhaps excessive? (I bet this is a big problem with Google)

Are you trying to do an anchor where when clicked on it takes the visitor to a different section of the same page?

I’m not too familiar with XHML but I don’t think you need to use the full URL path all the time for linking to inner pages of your site. as in xhttp://yesfreecash.com/second-section-no-deposit-bonuses/ (I’m not even sure you need the leading forward /)

Don’t XHTML pages need an extenstion suchas .xhtml, .xht, .html, .htm?

Can anyone proficient in XHML check this – I wouldn’t want to give him inaccuate syntax.

yesfreecash.com is heavily indexed so thats good.. I suggest you force all to either www. or not www to resolve that issue, this may, but i doubt be a cause of your issues.

It’s called a canonical issue and yes, if you have both http and www for your site, it can screw badly with the bots and you need to fix asap.

i think the poster in the seoforum is wrong
white bar is ok
grey bar is bad
amsterdam bar is best

the toolbar pr is not the real pr
it doesn’t necessarily mean loss of traffic and/or ranking
but it will be harder to selll/trade links now
