Hi,
Welcome to the board. Considering you live in Vegas, I would consider going. The cost of the conference for most of us is probably a quarter of the expense, with the rest being airfare, hotel, taxes, etc.
As for it being over your head i highly doubt it. Most of the speaches are geared towards beginners and there’s not really any technical or in-depth information provided. The reason us veterans go is more for networking purposes, and what we can learn amongst ourselves.

Hello Lady, believe me nobody has less tech knowledge than I and I have been in the online marketing for 6 years. I find the benefits of these show to be in building relationships with other webmasters and the affiliate managers.
I think if you plan to seriously go after this market then I would definately attend the show especially if it is in your home town. I am flying nearly 3,000 miles to attend (but i must admit, I love Las Vegas).

I read your post about the chicken ranch Brad so I had to chime in.
I visited the chicken ranch the last year they flew people out there. Unless they’ve started again.
This was back about 20 years ago. The entire sod farm crew had more or less won a trip out there by braving a torrent of rain to put down some sod that was otherwise going to go bad, and so as a reward we got to go to Vegas.
anyway, I heard a few month’s later after we had been there that they’d stopped flying people out there because the guy had crashed into the hills that stood between point A to B.
I wasn’t too surprised to hear about it. The whole time we were in there – the pilot was drinking in the bar and the landing coming back which was on blacktop, was a lot rougher than the landing on the long dirt runway at the C farm.
Have fun all. Wish I could join you but we’ve just got the kids pointed in the right direction and I’d hate to leave now and find out later one of them also took the week off.in the case of my little rocket scientists; they cannot afford such luxory.

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that GSN will be in Vegas.
PLUS I’ll be bringing along Alida on her virgin visit to the States, and her first conference. Go easy on her, and fear not she will have a beer budget

MarloHello All – I’m coming and will be arriving at 12:00 (lunch time) on the 2nd and staying at Excalibur.
Would enjoy getting the party started as early as possible so just wondering if there is a plan in place for Saturday afternoon/evening?
I am also arriving on the 2nd and staying at the Exalibur. There is an informal getogether in the lobby of Mandalay Bay that afternoon. I am going to try to make it over there – but I will likely be too lazy and just hang in the bar at the Exalibur.
Mito and I will be there on the 2nd as well and we will be looking for the “Beer Guy”, Garth and “Fortune – who owes the first round of ten beers” ……
