I actually thought that Howard Moon was based in reality. He didn’t get particularly nasty or preachy (at least not that I saw) – he simply pointed out that the “system to win” isn’t a system to win at all.

I wont add it to my sites – because I think claiming any winning system lacks credibility – the games are constructed to provide a house edge and entertainment like craps, blackjack or roulette is bombproof.

It doesn’t matter about the software or any apprarent results from a couple of hundred trials – these games do not lose money to systems.

(unless you are into card counting etc)

    We all know that right?

However, if it works for you and it’s converting traffic then well done – that profit motive is an important part of running an affiliate site.
    :hehe:

No, I don’t know that and I don’t want that and there is nothing holy about my attitude.

If you lose your shirt you won’t be back.

My site has huge return traffic. I want my guys to play as well as possible, and I even want them to win (especially at casino rewards :) ) I want them to have fun. I want them to set aside a monthly budget for gaming entertainment and stick with it. I want them to learn all they can and have the most bang for their buck, and I don’t ever want them to go to a crappy casino or lose their shirt.

I want happy, healthy, wealthy and loyal players who will honor me with their visits for another 5 years and longer, because I give them what they need in order to get the most entertainment possible for their money.

And I don’t mind winners at all, I love them. Winners are good for business.

I also like when my players win, and believe me that sometimes it translates in several months of $0 earnings, because the Casino I promote most, carries negative balance. I really don’t care about it. Even for me, this is a game. If I win, I win, if I loose, that’s life. I do this for 4 and a half years, and that never bothered me.

Lol, I was thinking the same exact thing. I think Mr. Moon needs to step off his high horse and get off that I am holyier than thou routine. I don’t care how you try to spin it, you are in the business of benefiting from other peoples misfortunes.Period. As a matter of fact, everything you say on your website is to lead a player to deposit in hopes that they will lose so you can make money from that.

I’m an educator and publisher, not a casino.

In either case, credibility matters, which is why casino software that uses dice or cards has to statistically behave like dice or cards. (In Vegas, anyway…) Casinos agree that credibility matters, and so does any regulating body. Why do you think casinos allow audits? Because they like auditors?

Even casinos don’t want everyone to lose. Who would ever come back? Who would tell their friends they had a great time? They make their money in the long run scenarios that everyone knows about.

You know I hate to judge people … I know it’s easy to do but it’s a trap.

My point to Mr. Moon was that his site carries an animated gift that flashes 100% bonus offer. He doesn’t have any problem doing that and I don’t have any problem about it either. It’s saying PLAY ! Make a deposit you’ll get twice what you put in …. How true is that ? Is it misleading the player ? Are there conditions and limitations ? Cmon … This is the same guy who calls me a liar and a cheat….

Who in the hell is he to judge me …?

What bothers me is that he really is making himself out to be better than I am. Only because what he does is different. Everbody has a way to jusify what they do … if they feel like they need to do that … it’s OK with me. But I don’t need to … Like I said …I sleep good at night and I don’t give a rats ass about anyone who thinks I shouldn’t.

I think everyone should look a little closer into my promotion and how that’s it done http://crapsschool.com/capDemo.html Playing the Don’t Pass is the very best on a crap table…. I’m not suggesting that players should play the worst bet …

I’m suggesting the player plays the best bet. (if he wants to play) He isn’t going to make a laydown until he tries the system in free play…. If he doesn’t feel the system has any merit ….he ain’t going to play … At any given time any given system can work. But he can decide if he wants to play. He’s suppose to be an adult.

That can’t be wrong … Please, we all live in glass houses.

We may go about doing things differently than others but when you begin to judge others …you shall be judged.

I think the case is quite clear. Pacific is practicing casino marketing the dirty way and is reluctant to admit it. Just go ahead and say I want to make a killing and I dont give a damn how the money comes in.

Anyone who knows statistics will understand that your strategy´s tone is grossly misleading and will make people gamble for the wrong reasons. I can understand though if someone wants to get into the business and they will not take the high road to marketing. However, to say that we are all in the same “casino-marketing-boat” is wrong because god knows there is more than way to market online gambling.

I’m not very good at it Dom, but I was being sarcastic – I hope I get players that love to gamble for the entertainment of it and don’t mind if they lose, but yet still get excited and frustrated

    ohhhh, DUH!

    I see it now. :)

Well, I wanted to say what I said anyways, so it’s just as well, even if it’s based on a misunderstanding.

An act or undertaking of uncertain outcome; a risk: I took a gamble that stock prices would rise.

Come on why & how do you think we are making money?

True, but they also get entertainment value, at least I target people who do, and enough people win to keep everyone motivated.

If you play smartly you can get a lot of bang for your buck. And who knows, you might get lucky.

I’m really surprised at some of the posts in this thread. I think there are some here who need to do a reality check.

We don’t have to make excuses or try to justify what we do in this business. If you need to do that you are in the wrong business. I won’t … and I don’t need anyone trying to make my mind up or convince me that I’m doing something wrong. I’m just doing what you do (differently) …and if you don’t like it ….well you know what you can do about it. (nothing)

I’ve gotten a lot of crap in this thread from others who want to judge me…. I say that those people are blinded by the truth. If you’re looking for a way to justify what you do by pointing a finger at me…. you’re just fooling yourself….and it makes me want to laugh.
