Yep, I think that is right on the money….

CPAYS funded (among others) as a way to gain more traffic. I wonder what the percentage of banner views will be CPays banners as opposed to other more reputable organizations?

I can’t wait to see how much spamming will come of this. My guess is that the past spamming by CPays, Casino Partners, 21Magic, 888.com will be NOTHING compared to this.

If so we as the large body of affiliates must demand the other programs take no part in promoting through this, although Im not sure we would be enough to stand up against the range mass spamming will generate.

Its more than that, its an excellent idea and I wish I’d had it.

But: is it coincidence that this black-hat chap Itay has gone white, become involved in all the major forums and then B4P arrives at the same time, accompanied by an email spam campaign, lots of Israeli folks and an ex-IOG affiliate manager.

Still some affiliates and players will take the risk I’m sure – time will no doubt reveal all. It’s a shame that players will be lured to a range of dodgy 2nd-rate casinos though.

I’m assuming Belle Rock, Fortune and all the other “legit” (!) programs are not involved as such, merely permitting affiliate links through it?

Didn’t know they were in there, I am sure they are just using an advertising vehicle that came along.

    Who is in there exactly?

I am not allowed to download it as US resident, and I missed the couple days they left it open for testing, and their site doesn’t say.

Not 100% sure but I can see 7 Sultans in the screenshot on the homepage. Actually I may be wrong about Belle Rock – just seem to remember a player mentioning them.

They’ve been shilling for a while now… Did it here at CAP and also at GPWA. I really dislike this crew. Even more so after they ‘decided’ to hook up with CPays.

Two more questions on this B4P thing:

Firstly, why are the casinos signing up to it if the whole philosophy is to get the players to trundle round the casinos getting more CPA for the affiliate? Why would a casino be happy with that?

Secondly, why as an affiliate would I be interested in giving all my player information to B4P and allowing them to build up a huge database?

Surely in a years time they can just kill B4P and walk away with a huge player database that all the affiliates have helped them build?

I agree on ALL points here! Why ARE casinos interested in a program that allows players to go from casino to casino to… Unless they are just hoping that their ‘experience’ is so good that they will just forget about the other offers in the tool..

As far as them gaining a database….. Affiliates are probably some of the biggest players out there. They will get one hell of a good database out of this :(

Just a theory, but lets say players did move from one casino to another BUT you owned most if not all of those casinos. Would you care?

On the second point. Most of us wouldnt be interested in that prospect becasue we are rev share affiliates who are in this for the long haul. If we were CPA whores we wouldnt care as we have a mindset of “make the most money now and fuck tomorrow”. Thats pretty much the way CPA affiliates and Black Hatters see things…

No, but many of the casinos are independent or in small groups. The principle devalues the deal – especially since the CPA they are asking the casinos for is quite high. A big risk if you are a casino IMO. I can see why Playtechs would go for it – they are agressive, but it still strikes me as a risky proposition for casino owners.

Firstly, I also assume there is more of a shared interest between most of these casinos, and I have good reason to think so. They have been acting in tandem before.

I think Cpays being dropped was unpleasant for them, but I bet you what that the players will be marketed to Cpays casinos by mail. I have no doubt that Cpays is a part of this, along with at least one other major playtech group.

I am also sure that the database is one of Itay’s major selling points. Since the involvement with the affiliate drops after the payment of the CPA, Playtech folks are free to circulate this player list among each other. It’s non US facing, and who is hungriest for non-US player contacts? Who’s listed in there? All makes sense to me.

    Hi all,

made this quote in another thread but then saw this one and felt it a more appropriate place.

I’m no expert. I just felt it made sense. found it on another forum.

First of all this is strictly a third party CPA program and the rates suck like a Mach 5 Hoover.

1-10 is 50 dollars, 11 to 30 is 65 and only 85 dollars for over 30 new players in a month.

Secondly, you will not exsist as far as the affiliate program knows. Everything is tagged to B4Playing, so you are essentially making B4Playing indispensible to the casinos, and lose any weight you might have with them yourself.
B4Playing is just another affiliate, so you are trusting that they will track fair, and pay you.

The main thrust of their sales pitch to affiliates is that once a player is in their system, you will get credit for the player at all of the properties that have signed up with B4Playing. Initially I thought the Casino Program would have to collude with B4Playing, and I suppose they still do in a way, but it is B4Playing that will be screwing around with WHO gets credit for WHO.

In theory, once a player has downloaded the program, all activity would go thru that software, but we all know good and well that people have multiple computers, they crash and are replaced, they loose passwords and just reinstall, people delete software sometimes and reinstall later, etc., etc..

Over the years, these things will happen many times to many people. Many probably go straight to the site, and just redownload at which point they would belong to B4Playing, OR they just redownload it from the first ad they see which probably WON’T be yours.
So what happens then? Would you trust them, or their system to flag those, and put them back under you?
I don’t think so. Especially if that player redownloaded direct from B4Playing.

    _______

Brightshare is in there, so is Fortune Lounge, and Referback.
I imagine Fortune Lounge is there via Slick Street Marketing, and Referback via Forward Slash. Those are the respective Media buy companies for each place. Brightshare’s might be thru Spiral Solutions. So, it’s possible that actual affiliate programs for have no idea whatsoever that this is going on.
