InactiveOf course its possible, but does it happen? If you say yes wheres your proof? Kind of hard to come up with that; and that through the grapevine hearsay doesnt cut it.

InactiveLuigi wrote:A few months ago I was doing some heavy advertising for Party Poker. I was getting a decent number of players a month, but more to the point, I was checking my stats every day like an obsessive compulsive webmaster because, well just because I am obsessive compulsive.Anyway, one day I checked my stats and someone lost about $14,000 at the casino. The next day another $20,000 or so was lost, the next day the same thing. Then, the guy disappeared never to be seen again. No big deal, I still get a big paday that month.
The first day of the next month I checked my stats for the previous month and it showed $70,000 in monies lost, however, my commission was only for $3k or so. I was outraged. I emailed my aff. manager several times. She took a week to get back to me. When she finally got back to me she said there was an error in the stats program and she had no record of what I was talking about. When I went back to check my stats, sure enough the $70k was gone and it then said $12k, which is what I got paid commission on.
Of course, I cut off all advertising for them, but here is the interesting thing. A couple months later that same aff. manager wrote me about a new deal she wanted, so out of curiosity I went back to that one month in their stats archive and it showed $70k monies taken in, but only my $3k commission. I wrote my aff. manager again telling her that I will advertise for them again when I get my commission for the $70k that it showed in the stats. She said ‘i thought we already talked about this, it was a mistake.’ When I checked the stats again, sure enough the $70k was not there and has not been since. However, I was smart enough to take a screenshot of when it showed the $70k that last time. However, I have no idea what to do with it.
Any comments?
Luigi … Post the screen shot here ! You will have a chance that something
will be done.

InactiveI don’t have the pic hosted anywhere but if anyone needs to see it I can send it via email. The thing isn’t that they screwed me and that I want my money (although I do). The thing is that they not only didn’t pay me my money, they stole the player who could have been still playing and thus supporting me right now. And the other thing is… how many other affiliate programs do this only in a much smarter fashion?

InactiveIt’s funny too that I told my aff. manager when I told her about this situaton and she replied that there was a stats error – I said, “yeah, the error was that you let me see the real stats!”

InactiveYou could post the picture here as an “attachment” if you wanted to. It doesn’t need to be hosted anywhere.

just said than in all the posts ever posted on all the forums since
the birth of this business.

InactiveLuigi, I believed you without having to see it.
Many here went through similar situations with various programs,
some with bigger amounts.
Like I said, for most affiliate programs, Christmas comes every month.
Let’s hope justice will be done in your case. Maybe the people
who do audits can help you ?

Guestparty or whatever it wants to call itself, has had issues before with affs concerning all kinds of strange happenings and I personally canned them a long time ago after kicking myself for giving them a second chance (when party poker came out) because I’d heard good things about the poker program but had had bad experience with their casinos in the past before the poker launched. Everything seemed okay at first but in the end … well as stated, I was sorry I ever gave them second chance.
I hope you get what’s owed to you

InactiveI agree this is very possible programs not paying on their whales and I hope this party poker issue get’s a second look… Party Poker has been terrible for me lately…Whenever I make any revenue I get hit with huge chargebacks that are way more then my revenue. I am about one more chargeback from dropping them completely.
