InactiveI hope all my players win periodically. It’s no fun for them if all they ever do is lose – wouldn’t be good for business either. It’s gambling – some will win and some will lose.
Educate your players.
Know your game and play the best strategy, set a budget, set a time limit and quit while you are ahead.
Tell your players how to tell if they are addicted and what to do about it.
I sleep just fine, gambling addiction is one of the rarer addictions. I find the sale of nicotine over the counter a heck of a lot more troubling.

InactiveI also don’t want my players to loose all the time. I wouldn’t sleep well with the others misery, and they would never return to my casinos.
I don’t want compulsive players. I want responsable people that know that they can loose, and they can afford it. When I created my first casino site 4 years ago, I stated “don’t bet money that you need to fulfill your obligations”.Why are Casinos bad, and state lotteries not? I know people who loose lots of money on those.

InactivePacific,
I gamble, 40 bucks a week, win or lose.. If I loose it all on the first hand I play, well no big deal, means I am not gambling again until next week
At the end of the week, I withdraw every penny, and deposit… 40 bux.. I stick to poker myself, so if im in someone affiliate line, things really work out better for them if I win, and generally I do.If I deposit 40, and within my week turn it into 300, thats alot of raked hands.. they get their commision off of my rake, not my deposit.. If I deposit 40, and I lose it day one, you can bet I was playing loose, or lost big on one hand, so they arent gunna make that much that week.
I am a pretty small stakes gambler, I’m sure a few reading this have already giggled @ my 40 a week

But win or lose, the kids get feed, the rent gets paid..
I know that slots do not pay off of the rake, same with bingo, I really dunno how most of them do pay.. but even if that was where I put my money, again.. I gamble with 40 bux a week online.. its right there in my budget
So win or lose, the house is safe.. and there are alot of other people that gamble resposibly the same as me
For those that bet the farm, thats sad.. and noone is hoping it will happen, I’m sure the commision from it is lovely, until the farm is auctioned off in a bancruptcy sale. But then it ends, and that person joins gamblers annonomous and you don’t get another dime
heheheSo give your conciounce a break, and keep in mind, that noone forces those few that gamble away the college funds to do it.

vladcizsolMemberHey Treacle Partnerlogic would have an even better reputation if they actually were certified at CAP.
Its important that programs help support the community rather then just pop in every so often and post a promotional message within a discussion thread. :dajudge: :dajudge:

InactiveThanks teacle, I will check it out.:wink-wink
Professor, it is quite a tricky one isn’t it? to separate between some replies posting as a promotional tool to others which actually are giving an honest opinion and advice. well, it’s always good to have your opinion now and then to make things clearer.:colgate:
MissM
