It would give everyone a chance to get a photo outside my Uncle’s stadium
Tom – you know what I’m talkin about

They would all bow at your feet and worship you Renee! Plus, we could all get properly gou-lashed on the cheap! On a side note, you’d be equally worshipped in Madrid. On another side note, Budapest is probably a better looking city than Barcelona.
For those of you who are confused as ever about what Renee is talking about, she had a fairly famous soccer playing relative… he was so good, they let him play for two countries!

Inactiveactually budapest is an excellent place for an event like this.
its cheap, friendly, lots of booze, loads of parties, very good night life, lots of hotels, fabulous roman spas, beautiful at night and during the day, superb public transportation. crime is very low. many times i’ve been pissed beyond belief and still managed to get home without any issues (whether by foot or on my knees).
the only drawback is that weather in september can be different. sometimes it can be around 20, other times around 15. but its not too cold.
i’ve lived there for a very, very long time and its definitely on the recommended list for anyone who has never been there before. and its much funner that prague too

we can even make a lil puskas footy tourney in the massive stadium with renee as a striker. following her uncle’s roots you know…

InactiveBudapest is I can confirm, awesome – I have been to clubs there that don’t even open till 5pm so they definitely know how to party and teh spas are amazing – One of the ones I went to had the biggest wave machine I have ever experienced – very surreal to have a wave machine in an acient roman spa……

InactiveIt has been a very long time since I was in Budapest, but I have fond memories.
Munich has the Oktoberfest going on at that time – very hard to find a venue.

ClubContMemberIf no more CAP-BCN it’s not the end of the world. I love the city but it is a little dis-heartening to hear people getting robbed/mugged and anything else. I forget to add in my article to watch out for the hookers on Ramblas, they are notorious for reaching in pockets digging for money and wallets.
Budapest is a beautiful city and I think it might be a good idea considering eastern europe probably hasn’t been targeted as much and as they slowly join the EU currency their buying power will change. I didn’t spend much time there but I’d say the average tourist would be safer in Budapest than in Barcelona.

cybersportsMemberJust curious…any other countries you guys would like a conference to be held at? I personally like the idea of going somewhere new every year. It gives us all a chance to add another stamp to our already filled passports!
how about greece or italy or germany or france or ?

ClubContMemberhaha, unfortunately my friend found out the hard way to the tune of 460 euros the first night. They are extremely agressive and flirty but I don’t like talking to them knowing they try this. It hasn’t happened to me and I’m not their client.
As for the new city concept it’s never a bad idea in my opinion. I mean if you go back to Barcelona you have already saw the tourist aspect of it. I think places like London can and should be staple events but for replacing Barcelona I think it is a good idea.
