Hey Kelly,
I’ll see your ‘Jobbing-Soap Opera-Actor’ and raise you a Little Britain…
This is me with David Walliams; one half of the Little Britain duo. Those in the UK will need no introduction. Those of you in the US should keep an eye on HBO for their new American series.
A few years ago David raised around £1 Million for Comic Relief by Swimming across the English Channel to France, about 22 miles.
This pic was taken just as he arrived at Gib airport prior to his money raising swim across the Straits of Gibraltar to North Africa.
well i do actually have a SMALL link to him too… part of Little Britains first series was filmed in Herne Bay (my birth place) in Kent and I slept in the same bed as him!
Although it was few years after he had stayed there lol
It’s very strange because when i watch the scenes of them at the seaside in Herne bay it brings back childhood memories :tongue:

Well, fortunately for me, the judge ruled that the fact I had a bath full of parafin and all those empty milk bottles was inadmissable as evidence.

And in almost all cases, the celebs I’ve had opportunity to meet and chat with have been extremely cool and down to earth.
I think my favorite line from any of them tho, had to be Ferguson:
” ‘scuse me Mark, but I’m awful hungry. Don’t spose I could trouble you for a sandwich?” I’m sure his choice of dining location had nothing to do with the fact that we had a dozen Playboy models crowded around a dodge charger at the time
