InactiveThat really should not happen in most mergers. There is a problem when one program has a second tier and is bought by one that doesn’t.
That also happens when both programs have 2nd tier. If the 2nd tier isn’t signed up under you in the acquiring program they don’t transfer across. I was serious about this being a perk in acquiring property. Very handy.

InactiveThere should be a tech solution for that?
Let’s say: You have 2nd Tier Terry under Acme Casino. I have 2nd Tier Terry under Coyote Casino. Acme Casino takes over Coyote Casino. Who gets 2nd Tier Terry?
Casino says: Acme already has 2nd Tier Terry under you for Acme Casino so that won’t change. However, since you didn’t sign up 2nd Tier Terry for Coyote Casino you don’t get that action. I lose 2nd Tier Terry on Coyote casino because there is already an affiliate (you) associated with that account. You don’t get it and I don’t get it. The casino absorbs it back into their coffers. If you signed up 2nd Tier Terry on both Casinos, then 2nd Tier Terry will move across with no loss.
So far, I’ve lost several 2nd tiers in this manner. I put an enormous amount of effort into my 2nd tiers and while some don’t produce much, others do or have good potential. It’s getting to the point that it isn’t worth signing up 2nd tier affiliates. As soon as they start producing, there’s another merger and poof. You’re screwed again.
Yes, there should be a tech solution and this really needs to be addressed but the casinos will say it’s inconsequential and not worth investing time and effort into. But it is. Think about it… what are the odds of one 2nd tier program’s downline being the same as another 2nd tier’s? Not much, and you can bet that 2% was figured in when deciding to merge the programs.
Want to know whats ironic? I am the 2nd level GW to the person who is my 2nd level MM.

Is it possible that all Carmen Media Group is involved with many Micro Casinos?

InactiveFor the time being, all I can do is go with what everyone say but something is just not connecting…….but oh well. Thanks for letting us know the situation Referback & FA affiliate managers. :popcorn:March 9, 2006 at 7:24 pm #685831Anonymous
InactiveGood point Souzee,
Before Captain Cooks moved to Casino Rewards, I made money from CC 2nd tier. Since they have been at Casino Rewards, I haven’t made any 2nd tier income. I’ve made more in commissions since the move though.
I pleased with the outcome with this move.
I really liked how Referbacks old stats worked. The newer version always get messed up and changes around all the time.

Inactivethis is the e mail I got from referback……
Hi Dana,
ReferBack is owned by Carmen Media, however the rumour that Carmen Media has also acquired Fortune Affiliates is merely a rumour and not true.
Thanks,
Cobus

InactiveCapital Casino has always been managed by Carmen Media, but the marketing was done outside by a different agency.
