InactiveIt appears that it is true. Just recieved this email from ReferBack!
Hi Allan,
Please be advised that, with immediate effect ReferBack, representing Belle Rock Entertainment, is withdrawing from the USA and will no longer be representing any casinos or poker rooms in that market.
Any funds due, and payable to you, in terms of past commitments will of course be honored and paid out in accordance with the normal ReferBack payment schedules. We regret any impact that this decision may have upon you, and would like to reassure you that the decision was not taken lightly.
Recent experience has seen the USA becoming less and less profitable as market conditions have become ever tighter, to the point that continued activity in the USA has become decidedly unattractive to ReferBack.
We will continue to work with affiliates resident in the US, focused on non-US acquisitions.
At the same time, ReferBack has seen very substantial growth in other markets around the world, and is therefore able to assist affiliates wanting to re-focus or extend their marketing efforts beyond the USA.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
CobusNovember 6, 2008 at 2:48 pm #785718Anonymous

InactiveCan’t believe this, almost all my loyal players are on the Microgaming platform, I just hope they are able to continue.
Luckily I have been focusing on the UK market recently so have something to fall back on :Cry:November 6, 2008 at 3:46 pm #785727Anonymous
InactiveI just want to remind everyone how hard we have to work to get this industry regulated. Just sitting back and expecting it to get done is not going to cut it! Let’s use this situation and our anger to be MORE productive in making it happen. :hattip:

It’s been 2 years since UIGEA and online casinos still don’t have a Political Action Committee, It just makes no sense to me at all.
If you want change, you need lobbyists in Washington.

Hey there Fonzi!

I’m gonna copy my reply that I posted at GIA:We can’t depend on the idiots in washington or the casinos to look out for OUR business. We need to figure out how to do it ourselves. I’m beside myself with anger and I’m going to find out how to get involved and get this industry regulated. You just have to get to the right folks and I’m going to GET to them.
Obama has 3 million NEW ‘lobbyist’ that worked on his campaign and THAT’s all we need to get started.
EDIT: to add that everyone needs to remember that the govermnent works for US not the other way around. With our internet skills we should be able to get the word out to the public AS WELL AS to thoes in our CONGRESS that we are not going to take them RUINING our business. We have to remind them that THE US IS BROKE.

We need to be our OWN lobbyist and get the job done!
