They are all scams in one way or another. Out of all the ppcs mentionned in this thread, I would probably trust goglick the most. If you bid more than a dime a click at findwhat expect your deposit to be gone within hours.
May 10, 2004 at 11:30 pm #649109AnonymousInactiveScrew them then, they never phoned me when they said they would anyway.
Ok so as I suspected there is pretty much no way to advertise online that isn’t a scam of some sort, now that overture and adwords are out of the picture. Shame, there really ought to be some sort of regulatory body to prevent this. While they’re at it they could investigate affiliate shaving and other such problems.

Yep, the US goverment just made it a lot easier for the average gambler to get screwed. Now a surfer has no choice but to go to a random casino that happens to be listed high in search results. Th4se casinos can be open one day and gone the next. With no way to advertise, there’s no way for companies to indicate to players which casinos are reputable and vice versa.
Of course the government actually caring about the welfare of its citizen is the biggest joke I ever heard. It’s like those people who think that cops are actually out there to protect society.
May 10, 2004 at 11:42 pm #649111AnonymousInactiveThis is what happens when you drive a widely used and liked activity (gambling in this case) underground.
Because that is what they are trying to do – drive it underground so it is unsafe and seedy and people will be too scared to play.
May 24, 2004 at 6:50 am #649657AnonymousInactivetry roar.com or pageseeker.com – not lots of traffic but quality seems ok. we have advertised with them and have good cpa rates. they also have good poker traffic. they also have good accessable customer service 24/7 who respond quickly and you dont get the run around. start with a small deposit.

October 4, 2005 at 3:40 pm #673760AnonymousInactiveUse the paid to surf programs to generate hits i thing.. People surf on some sites and get paid by the “paid to surf” program and the “paid to surf program” get paid by advertisers.. Many of these programs have autosurf functions so the “surfer” doesn’t look on a single page… The computer can just surf automatic for hours..
Recently i have tested some gambling traffic that are redirected from old/abdoned casino sites.. I can’t tell if the visitors is of any quality becuse i get visitors from other places as well.
the price is like $50 for 10.000 visitors over 30 days.
But in this case i can’t see any hook exception if they don’t lie (no redirects from expiered domain names)
If the traffic is from expiered domain names with gambling content it would be great..
But im still a bit sceptic to it.. For example i don’t get more sign-ups to my mailinglist, the sign-up rate to my forum is the same.. So i guess it’s crap.. And now when i think about it im not gona make any more order.
October 4, 2005 at 5:02 pm #673762AnonymousInactiveThat traffic is garbage. I have tested it to an affiliate site and sending it straight to a casino landing page and direct to a poker landing page. 0 downloads on 10,000 visits. Not even 1 play money player. Garbage.

November 12, 2005 at 4:04 pm #676285AnonymousInactiveI still find myself from time to time buying them hahaha
I want to have faith that there is at least one that would work. Its only 20-50 here and there. There are so many scams out their for traffic. We should highlight them all. PPC like Blowsearch and others like that.November 12, 2005 at 5:04 pm #676287AnonymousInactiveThey are fake, fake, fake…
I actually got one once that had clicks that originated from China.
These clicks landed on my front page for a fraction of a second and then were gone.
None ever entered the site.
All the rest I looked at were just totally fake.
The China ones may have been created in sweatshops…
November 12, 2005 at 5:35 pm #676289AnonymousInactiveperfecttraffic.com yes I have tried them to. I think I tried about all of them it seems hahaha. I set aside money just for this. DO you think they know that? Does anyone do the same?
It is hard to find quality “paid” traffic. I do agree that Findwhat and Goclick are about the only ppc that are worth anything right now. I was given a few others by a friend and I am about to check them out. Off hand one of them is abcsearch.com or something. I did that ppcvip thing once, you know what I am talking about? They have a list of just about every PPC there is, with offers they have and so forth. They even charged me for this list and it was not till after that I realized I could have did it all on my own hahahaha.
Actually there really is a scam for EVERYTHING!January 7, 2006 at 3:03 am #680038AnonymousInactiveThis thread is a bit old, but this information is very valuable, and I decided to give one more tip. Some of those bulk traffic won’t be seen, because your page can appear in an hidden iframe (1 pixel size).
So your logs really show visitors from many countries, but that doesn’t mean that they really saw your site.I also bought some thousand visitors, from a “reputable” seller, but I got not even one free download. When I said to him that his traffic didn’t converted, he said that if it was so good, he would be rich.
So that is the true story. If someone has gold in his hand, why will he trade it for peanuts???:hithead:
May 3, 2006 at 7:25 pm #690959AnonymousInactiveI wanted to bump this as I think it’s a good heads up!
Over the past month I’ve purchased around 70K of this crap and I’ve received not even one signup.
The last lot (20K) I purchased was from a full member of another affiliate forum, this btw was on his over inflated hyped sell and personal guarantee.
Having had a gut full of this crap and because this person told me it was really good traffic and actually is still telling me, I demanded a refund. Firstly he said he’d refund the money then he’s gone back on his promise.
I used to think that affiliates that were part of or held allience to an organisation wouldn’t surely try to scam other members. Well there goes that theory.
I don’t know what’s gone wrong here, it never used to be like this, maybe it’s a sign of the times, but whatever it is, it sucks and it’s just not right!
In my view allowing affiliates who are members of a forum
should be jump on by all for trying to scam other members. The problem is if this doesn’t happen people keep doing, keep scamming and things just get worse and worse.
