Lately there has been a great number of traffic merchants offering “100,000 hits for $129, 50,000 Gambling hits for $149”.
The prices and packages vary. The results dont.

I believe this so called “traffic” is generated by one source and marketed by affiliates through a number of individually skinned sites.

It’s all basically the same crap. CGI generated clicks and small hidden pop ups on adult sites and embedded within Spam emails.

I ordered two of three of these packages from different affiliates to evauluate the programs. All produced the same results, no real player sign ups. The traffic was sent directly to casinos in two cases so you would expect at least a few players, but no, Nada, Zilch, Bupkis ….

You will recognize the scam when they offer 100,000 + visitors and then under T&C say your sites cannot have sound or pop ups (This is because they wants THEIR pop ups to remain hidden and silent)

Don’t get taken by these scams. Real Traffic Costs Real Money. Ask yourself this. “If you found a source of targeted gambling traffic for less then a penny a click would you sell it? Would you even tell anyone about it?” The answer is “Hell No!” You would send that traffic to the casinos yourself and get wildly rich. The LAST thing you would is sell it for so little!

You’ve been warned, don’t waste your money on this garbage.

Echo what Professor says. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

If someone had so many millions of real gambling visitors to send out they’d be on a yacht in the Med looking up their Referback/Casino Coins stats every morning.

There’s a _lot_ of bad traffic out there.

This crap is still being sold as evidenced by another CAP member who fell for this garbage.

As my great friend the Professor has stated, this is a scam. The people that are pushing this crap traffic should stop now. This is the same a stealing.

Low cost traffic is worth less than what you pay for it.

I read the warnings but had to try it out for myself.

    Sigh.

Here is an example of a low-cost traffic pitch that I received at BingoHall.com

It sounds WAY too good to be true, so I never pursued it.
I asked them if they have “legitimate” traffic and this is the response I got back.

Anybody have any dealings with these guys?

Well we are legitimate traffic, let me tell you about us,

What we do is we have a network of partner sites that will show your full page interstitial off of their sites. The traffic is all keyword targeted by the keywords that you provide us when you sign up, we then run your interstitials off of sites in our network that are related to those keywords. The traffic is US only, non-adult related, 24 hour unique visitors. All of this translates to highest quality targeted visitors for your site of course.

We also provide you with all the stats that you will need for the campaign through our real time campaign manager. You can track the progress of and make adjustments to your campaign to get the best results possible. I also check on each campaign from time to time to make sure everything is going well and you are getting the best conversion rate possible.

So basically all we need from you to get a campaign started is the URL where you want the traffic sent, the keywords that you want to target, and which of the campaigns you want to start with. Then I will email you the login for your stats and we will track and optimize the campaign from there.

This week we are actually running a special on our lower priced campaigns, so it works out well because you will get a deal on our great test campaigns. Here is the pricing for them:

    100,000 hits for $499 ($0.005 per visitor)
    300,000 hits for $999 ($0.0033 per visitor)
    1,000,000 hits for $1900 ($0.0019 per visitor)

Let me know your thoughts and what questions you have, I am always here to help. So let me know.

    Prof;

Why don’t you say which companies you tried? Why the secrecy?

I recently had a campaign with perfecttraffic.com which do a $150 for 50,000 gambling hits. I kind of figured that it might be a bit dodgy so I covered myself by sticking an adriches per impression banner on the same page (a casino guide), which paid for the campaign.

I thought the results seemed ok but it was difficult to tell because I have traffic coming from other sources. They have said that they can host the page for me which will enable me to see how many clicks-throughs the page generates, but I thought I would ask on here to see if anyone has any experience with these guys, or if they were one of the ones you tried.

    Cheers.

    Let me ask you this:

With literally millions of hits sold per week put together from all these bulk targeted traffic sites, how come you can spend all your days surfing the casino scene and speaking to other affiliates and site owners and no one has ever seen a single one of these popunders?

How come not a single one of these resellers can tell you even one site where the traffic runs?

If this is traffic at all, it is raw traffic. It may be that they used to run the raw traffic through one of their own portals and when it comes out it is magically casino traffic.

But with the proportions this epidemic of bulk targeted traffic has now, I think they are not even proper hits but computer generated ones.

There is no way that these could possibly be real without being noticeable all over the place.

    Yeah, that’s a good point.

It’s annoying, I have a great site that did so well in its first month (last month) with adwords but now, like many others I’m sure, I have to find alternatives. I’m willing to pay but I guess the people with the big tips will not be willing to share.

    Starting an epilot campaign tonight.

No Secrecy oasisx. There are dozens of these rip offs out there operating and if you add in affiliate reseller sites there are probably hundreds of outlets with different names where one might buy this crap. ALL of it is worthless.

Think about what Dominique said as I agree with it 100% and have stated the same in the past. Also any campaign that does not produce noticable results was not a good buy.

If you have to ask yourself “Well, did I get any sales from this media buy or was it just my regular traffic?” then the answer is right there. You got burned.

If you had 10,000 legitimate visitors to a site or casino trust me you would see a HUGE increase in sales. If this weren’t true none of us would be in business or be able to buy real traffic from overture at up to $10 a click and make a profit.

Real traffic produces real results. Fake traffic produces no results.

Newbies always fall for the same flawed logic. “Gee I can’t afford to pay $2.00 per click like you established guys. I have to buy cheap traffic.”

If you are a newbie or if you have a limited budget it’s even MORE important that you get results for the money you DO have.

If some one sells you 100,000 hits for $100 and you generate 0 sales its not helping you.

If you spend that same $100 on “real “(or at least decent) traffic and get 50 visitors which net you two or three new depositing players you are FAR ahead of the game.

    I hope this makes sense.

Try out whatever programs you like, but at the end of the day if you want to survive in this business you have to get RESULTS and sales for your ad dollars NOT hits.

    😮 😮 😮

    Starting an epilot campaign tonight.

Donate the money to charity instead. You will feel better and it will generate the same number of sales.

ePilot, Kanoodle, Xuppa, search123 and ah-ha will chew up money and spit it out with no results. The cost per click reflects what people think of their traffic. Actually 1 cents per click is over paying for these turkeys.

I recommend you throw the same money in Findwhat or Goclick. Neither one is fantastic, but they do at least produce some results. Give them a try and let me know how you do.

Professor is right. I’ve tried Xuppa and saw no results. ePilot was AWFUL–no results with them either. I saw 1 download and 1 player from 550 clicks on Kanoodle. And they have the gall to give me a bunch of nonsense about my site not meeting their editorial guidelines for the keyword phrase “casino bonuses”. Breathtaking in its stupidity.

I have seen some results from GoClick and FindWhat.

A good use of your money might be to find a reputable source of information regarding search engine optimization. That’s my plan right now anyway.

Also–I personally bought over 10,000 hits from one of these low traffic sources, and it was worthless.

    Not even a download.

I only spent $70, but I would have been better off buying my wife dinner and handing a business card to the waiter.
