Well, it doesn’t take very long to take down some spam sites.
The offending affiliate programs to need to rectofy this problem now.
In other words stick it up their ass.

One thing is for sure, they have been given a chance to correct their lack of moral issue. If not they will both be exposed without a dought. Do not without a dought, chance being exposed, for I will scumbags.I dont know, Dom. I have wrote Yahoo quite a few times, with exact URLs of their websites where my content and redirects appear – I did not even got a canned responce…Damn, if you type my site’s name in the search – it’s their website you get…
I mean, even their home pages are nothing but hidden text! I got so dissapointed by Yahoo because of this – I banned the Slurp from visiting my site (not that Slurps cares – it still eats my website like it’s the only one in the world)!
Slightly off topic – I have one thing to say to Yahoo and Google – :shakebutt
And Capitan – those websites are owned by the aff program, and after my last post about that aff program – to cover their tracks they did that cross-traffic, media-selling thing with the other one. Pretty lame, but it was enough for me to be 100% sure that I was right.

Keep in mind that these pages are old, old, and I dont think I link to them from my current website, even the banners dont work – they just sit there on the server – never got around of taking them down after I bought the website – pretty useless content, but I think the website got banned from Yahoo because of this.After you click on the link – wait 3-4 seconds and you will be redirected to the website…

There is a stick post here on CAP: “The Role of an Affiliate Manager”. I think it lacks one more thing. An affiliate manager should be aware and know where and how their casinos are being promoted. As promoting casinos on a page that tries to steal the work of months or even year of another person is not a good business practice, I think affiliate managers should concern about the issue and take some measures. If I’m an affiliate manager, I would not allow, under any circunstances, my casinos being promoted on such a scam. Achieving a good reputation is not easy and should not be destroyed in this way.

I got news for everyone. Its likely that ALL of your sites have had the content duplicated.
I hope Krystall will chime in here; she can explain what I’m talking about better than anybody.
But I can tell you which aff program is guilty of allowing it to happen, and will, but not before I go check my sources to make sure I’ve the right name because sometimes i get the names mixed up since everything starts with casino, vegas, or gambling.
I try and continue this later tonight.

okay, here’s the deal as I understand it. Please someone correct me where wrong, as I am basically just handing this over to smarter people than me; to tell me what if any, damage is done.

I put the above link to help speed up the process, but trust me if you’ve visited the first page, you’ll find a link to the above page, which when you visit it you will see a bunch of links below the casino links (which by the way will be a hell of a hint as to which aff program is guilty) and if you mouse-over the link it will show in the little grey area of your IE in the bottom left; it shows the address of the link your clicking on, right? yes. But now don’t just mouse-over, but click down (but don’t let off your clicker, keep it down) and you’ll see a different address.
then a java script redirects to the original promised link, but SE bots can’t follow the java, so you get no credit for the linking to your site;
but that’s not the bad part. The bad part is that the SE bots CAN follow the link to the page which has the java script in it, and therefore the SEs DO see that your title, meta tag descript; etc, are in fact duplicated 1000s of times.
Do a search on the SE for your title and it will likely come up 1000s of times. Which for the most part, people’s title is a unique thing. Certainly not reproduced 1000s of times.
so its my understanding that the big issue here is not that these sites are using your title, url, or meta tag description to get traffic; but rather that it puts you in a position where your site may be banned for duplicate content.
leaving lots of open spaces for others to move in.
*please note i am offering this with the littlest of knowledge about the whole thing, and that once someone with a better understanding of the situation views it; that maybe it would be a good idea to re-phrase my post to something the majority can understand.

Damn, they pulled out way more websites than I knew of…
Damn, everyone of these has an “in box” window that spawns pop unders and if you try to close it it spawns more and more and more…
I HATE this shit and the only way I know to get rid of it is shut the computer down and I am in the middle of several projects I am working on at the same time – DAMN!!!!!!
You can open the Task Manager, and close them from Applications…every now and then this will close the rest of the browsers (rarely), but at least if you run applications, they will be fine…
