    First 2 were the best:

    1. giving up on a site too easily, and flittering to the next business idea. in other words, not resisting temptation well enough to focus on my main sites
    2. trying to get every page perfect

If was my problem as well :-/

To recognize, that good faith in this industry is laudable but dangerous.Leopold

People rushing content. Its always quality over quantity. Less posting in forums, and more posting on your own sites.

Its also wise to get more involved in a lot more social marketing.

If I had start over I`d read a lot of forums with the reviews of more professional affiliates.. I`d like to know more about each affiliate proogram and their peyments, the general relationshio to affiliates and so on..

iv been in this game along time..phew about 2 months…if i had to start again id use wordpress…wordpress..wordpress…iv been playing around with a blog on wordpress.com and its so easy, once my 4 weebly sites (yuck) are looking ok im moving to wordpress

If anyone is still using Weeby , Please stop !! I can not believe that they are charging for a domain name and something they would like to call hosting and a WYSIWYG piece of trash editor. I only know because my wife wanted to surprise me with a blog site that I had been talking about and she has no coding knowledge but is very artistic. She spent days making the site which looked amazing but was almost editable and this is for a blog site ?? NO sense when you can install and WordPress, Jumbla and add a WYSIWUG editor widget . Not sure how they got away with this for so long.

If I had to do it over again I would have researched the brands I promoted and got burned by more.

I would choose different Genre altogether. Will keep a budget to try several things at ones. May be will get lucky on at least one of them.

I’m trying a similar approach on my 3 sites hopefully one of them will hit.

my biggest thing for every site i used to build, was trying to get every page perfect.
now.. i for mini sites, i just get a site up, and worry about the look later (1-3 weeks later)

The past 2-3 years have been a huge learning curve and trying new things every week thought me a lot so I would do a number of things differently if I started over:)
    – hire help and outsource tasks much sooner (writers, SEOs etc)
    – do market research more in-dept before jumping on a niche
    – never use trademarked domains
    – create multiple income streams for my affiliate sites sooner (diversify revenue sources: rev-share, CPA, fixed fee ad campaigns)
    – invest in powerful software to scale content and marketing

hope this helps someone who is starting out.

I wish I would have focused on the casino or sportsbook industry first then bingo. Bingo is very profitable, don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t compare with what the big time casino affiliates
