InactiveIs there any news on the Hype situation?
It’s pretty frustrating that this is happening…. I spent a lot of time gathering game information, putting up screenshots, and adding entire sections about Player Preferred software to several of my sites.
Justin? Tristan? Steve? New Management? Can anyone say anything at all here? The silence is deafening.

InactiveThey were supposed to have given us a statement on Sunday… Now over 24 hours past due and coming up on 48

Yes – very frustrating to say the least…. I was hoping that their newfound communication skills were going to be a positive sign for this organization.
I hope they communicate soon!!!!

vladcizsolMemberReceived this morning:
Quote:Dear ProfessorThis email is designed to advise you of the situation with your affiliate payment.
Normally a Licencee would not intervene however as stated in our first email, we view affiliates as important to a business such as Online Gaming.
The previous owners have not responded to our requests for payment of affiliates, the affiliate payments were made solely by the Casino Owner and Marketing Team.
Rather than let the affiliates sought out the situation with the Previous Management on their own we are going to investigate a method that we can provide some assistance in this area.
Negative Postings and bad press although may be justified on the previous owners , it not in the interest of anyone and we will only support affiliates that support us in this matter.
So please whilst we find an amicable solution we ask that no postings, blogs or general comments are made, if a posting is made by an affiliate we will not be inclined to assist them in resolving this situation, as we did not create this unfortunate situation .
We will require a further 7 days to resolve this issue as we are not going to see a response from the Owners and any solution can only come from the software supplier.
Thank you for your understanding.

InactiveDoes anyone have any smidgen of news at all about this? I’m having my best month so far with them, yeah I still have all their banners up.

InactiveLast I heard they hired new staff and were sorting payments…

InactiveThey asked us, via email, to wait a week for more news on what their plans are (on May 23rd). So – I guess they have a couple more days to deliberate.

:plain:Who’d deal with this lot AFTER you’ve been paid out ?
Stay quiet then affiliates – get your money – and then get out.
Stay as far away from this outfit as possible.May 29, 2007 at 12:22 am #738068Anonymous
InactiveI will, because I don’t like changing my banners and I’ve got good players there. New owners, transition, etc Oh, and they gave me a hat at CAP Euro.
If things are still wonky after the company is entirely taken over and everything is supposedly settled I may reconsider.

InactiveDespite the fact they they obviously choose to work with companies that don’t have the financial security or management nous to run an online business ??
That’s NOT really serving the player isn’t it?
Oh well – as long as your pocket is filled – you’ll be alright eh?

InactiveThe ‘they’ are a completely different company now as far as I understand.
May 29, 2007 at 1:29 am #738077Anonymous
InactiveBut were they chosen with the same “Care and Attention” that the first group were chosen?
That’s one issue …
But the main issue is this rather blunt attempt to stop discussion by the controlling owner … “Shut up and you MIGHT get paid” …

InactiveTheGooner wrote:But were they chosen with the same “Care and Attention” that the first group were chosen? The original owner had deep pockets. That was never the issue as far as I am aware.
But – yes, they need to pick new owners with casino experience this time… owners who know it will take time to make a profit and gain market share.
