InactiveI pray for all of you in Florida. Miami has always been my favorite summer and winter getaway spot. But now I just feel fortunate that we’re experiencing a 100+ degree here in California instead of a storm! Good luck to all of you.

GuestHi again,
here’s some pictures from the flood I was talking about when there were railroad ties shooting into the air. please pardon the quality as I took them sitting in front of the tv from a home movie and for some reason, they don’t come out very clear which is odd because you’ll see the pic is something I had up for friend from a fishing evening, and that pic is clear as a bell.
anyway, heres the link

btw, that is an elm tree you see in the picture with the pickup truck in it.
its by far the biggest I’ve ever seen, the trunk being big enough to fit a coke machine into.

vladcizsolMemberHi Guys
I am alive and well. Internet is down though on both cable and DSL so I am in town at a Kinkos. Hopefully I will be back online by tomorrow or Wednesday.
PS: My phone lines are up and down too so if you try to call you may not get through right now. Sorry for the incovenience.

InactiveRight now…
In the privacy of his Floridian home…
Even though he’ll never admit it…
Lou is playing Barry Manillo’s “Looks Like We Made It” over & over!
:p

Glad you made it safely through… hope everyone else is a-ok.
Too bad the storm did take some lives with it, though.

InactiveHi folks
Got the electric, phone and cable back today. I hope the next one will go to Texas. I’m leaving the plywood up just in case.

InactiveHi gang, I’m back!
Lost power Sunday at about 2 AM and didn’t get it back until 2:30 PM yesterday. After that, I just got some much needed sleep while enjoying the AC.
My home, for the most part did not sustain any damage. I did lose three big trees, one of which uprooted my water and phone line which I managed to repair in short order.
So now it’s time to see what Ivan brings (this sure is getting old).
Prayers going out to those who still do not have power or worse.

vladcizsolMemberIvan looks deadly, I hope it avoids Florida. We cant take another hit like that, especially THIS hurricane.
