InactiveI know there has been some communications with GP. Of course we are still waiting.
I agree more needs to be done than just blacklisting them. We wanted to produce some videos and target the players, warning them to stay away from the GP group of casinos.

InactiveAgree 100%. Where did this thread go? :sarcasm:

InactiveDo a search – there are a number of them.

InactiveThe other was so full and I thought a fresh start would be good. I think the videos would be perfect! I would post them on my forum for you also.

InactiveHere are the two we already have done:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wBYQUC7xZY
The APCW calls upon the services of the Internet Archives to look at the history of what the Grand Prive Group promised their webmaster partners. See first hand how they “guaranteed” their affiliates a lifetime of revenue, and have now cut them out of the deal to pocket all the profits.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V54V8O_W4n8
The Grand Prive Casino Group recently shut down their affiliate program. However, they continue to run their casinos and profit from the players their webmaster partners sent to them in the past. They have cut their “partners” out of the deal they made with them, and are keeping all the profits!March 11, 2009 at 2:59 am #796891Anonymous
InactivePersonally, I think Microgaming should be showing some concern here. The fact that they seem to be turning a blind eye upsets me, and makes me feel that this kind of thing is acceptable with them, and could possibly happen again.
Do I think anything will change with Grand Prive Affiliates? Not a chance. Not unless MGS made them. But that’s not going to happen.
Although we all know that the top people at Grand Prive that made this call are theives, apparently the other powers that might be able to help us think Grand Prive should be able to do A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G they want, because afterall…… it’s Grand Prive.

Agreed, and maybe the other MG affiliate programs as well… I wonder how much they have lost/will loose from this issue that made Microgaming a “fallen angel”…

InactiveDom and I are thinking on what we can do to get GP to understand how serious this is so any suggestions are really appreciated it seems us affiliates are going to have to form together and do this!

InactiveHas there been held any meetings between CAP and GP – or was that just BS from GP?
Do we have to play by the book, when GP doesn’t?

InactiveSadly it seems as if GP have got away with it.
Whilst all the efforts made by those who have put up bad press about the group will have been seen by some players, this group never relied on SEO and always had a lax attitude towards the affiliates.
I think they knew that they’d take some heat but don’t really care.

ClubContMemberIf a Rival program did this it would be bad news for the rest of the Rival casinos, they wouldn’t allow for it.

That’s good to hear John.
Who would have thought that Microgaming would have allowed this? Well, now we know they will allow it, and not even think twice about it.

InactiveLike I said before we need to track down the owners and all ties to other brands that we should blacklist in the future.
March 16, 2009 at 12:01 pm #797133Anonymous
InactiveIMO we are screwed. The one person that may have been able to help is not allowed here anymore so I have NO hope of getting this situation fixed and won’t waste anymore time on it.
We have not heard of any update, progress or anything regarding this status of the cancelled meeting in London, etc.
Sorry, but it don’t seem like anyone with any power or leverage can do much and Microgaming don’t care about it either so I don’t see what else we can do.
There are many affiliates that support Villa Fortuna and that will kill us all.
