Not if you ever want to advertise other sites I wouldn’t. I regret pushing them over the edge cause now all I have is Yahoo :Pisser:

Which fire are we trying to fuel?
What would be the purpose of this negative PR campaign?Sorry…Does it help anyone here that Google is exposed and the traditional media spin another negative story about “online gambling” and “online advertising”.? :grunt:
You are basically sending a message to Joe Schmo Public that Google (according to the US Government) is still accepting “illegal advertising” for “illegal offshore gambling properties”. That will be the angle of the story that will be picked up by the media. The other story regarding Google “picks & chooses” how they accept their ads has NO Impact, and therefore that story will not run….do you really think the average consumer understands how PPC advertising works?

InactiveSome sites, especially redirects and such, are indeed displacing those of us who rightfully earn good placement in Google for years and years of hard work.
Reporting such sites to google is up to the individual. That should be effective in the long run. Google rarely acts on individual complaints, but they do use the whole number of complaints to help shape policy. Helping to shape google policy is a worthwhile thing in any case.
I do not think any type of public campaign would benefit our industry.

InactiveSorry to all for the misread.
Dom…I do agree with your view regarding reporting on natural and organic search results violations. That is for sure.

InactiveThere´s somebody on searchenginewatch complaining about Google´s hipocrisy. The preferential treatment of some casino affiliates seems to be pretty widespread. Scroll until the Spanish guy starts his rant about people promoting casinos on google adsense.
Curiously 888 affiliates are one step ahead of the game ……..again!
