InactiveI think it´s a curious fact that out of all the sites advertised, 888 appears quite frequently no matter what rogue tactic from the blackhatters you look at. 888 seems to cater to these people. Otherwise they wouldn´t always emerge as the common denominator in all these schemes. Maybe an addition to our 888 knowledge base would be required.
This may sound a bit cynical but I believe there is a chance that the people at google adsense could indeed be stupid enough to not recognise the cloaking attempt. After all at this level you will have a lot of silly clerk types and not necessarily all the Stanford educated computer geniuses. Those people work for google labs and are involved in the world domination project. :hehe:

vladcizsolMemberThere is no stupidity or oversight involved here. Google knows exactly what is going on.
Unlike smaller advertisers who just use the Google Adwords control panel to set up their promotions this affiliate has an account manager at Google who handles his campaign and ensures there are no editorial rejections of search terms.
This is a common practice at Google and Yahoo search martketing. The fact is when you spend enough each month you are afforded a different level of service then blue collar advertisers.

BigDaddy,
Hoe long did it take Google to ban you after you received the “warning email” saying “this is the last time, otherwise…”

With that big bucks tunnel vision its easy to lose site of the things that really matter.
This guy has made a practice of taking advantage of loopholes and cutting corners for a long time, he isnt going to change.

InactiveActually, thinking about this… does anyone here have a news contact we could talk to regarding breaking this story? Google are utterly corrupt and I seriously doubt that their ‘policy’ of allowing ‘friends of google’ to advertise online casinos, whilst claiming not to accept these ads, is entirely legal.
Anyone have a good contact where we could get this story out to the wider audience… and their shareholders?

InactiveI have a friend that writes for Wired. Let me run it by him.

InactiveNice one, BJF. I believe we have conclusive proof of Google’s corruption here. I can certainly prove without any doubt that Google are aware of the online casino ads, can prove that they have not removed them and can prove that they claim not to accept these ads. I think that should be enough to cause a hell of a stink and prove once-and-for-all that Google does indeed ‘do evil’.
I would be willing to share ALL my correspondence between myself and Google on this matter.

vladcizsolMemberDo we really want to present a case of “Online Gambling” bringing about corruption at a major media outlet?
Is that in all of our best interests at this time?

InactiveBigDaddy,
Hoe long did it take Google to ban you after you received the “warning email” saying “this is the last time, otherwise…”
?Probably over a year of messing with them after they stopped running gambling adds. They never did tell me anything other than they reserve the right to decline any ad for any reason they want. I said I was sorry and they let me put my marine electronics site back up but then I paused it for a week and when I went to turn it back on my credit card was declined and since then they will not give me a reason or even speak to me. So Google can :kissass: HAHAHAHA

InactiveI agree with Lou…let’s hang low and not bring up the issue of “Google supports…” with a “major” media outlet. Considering what is happening right now in the USA with online gaming.
FYI…we spend ALOT with Google in our other properties (have a personal account manager, etc.) and are still not allowed to advertise in online gambling. Did get approval for free sites with no links to gambling, etc. Did not pursue this though. Would be interested to know what it would take to get these kind of sites approved. Some of those sites mentioned with the cloaked pages have been running for quite some time.
For example, this one runs on Google Canada for the terms “Online Poker” & “Party Poker” and has been running for months. Can you imagine how many players this is bringing in? I wonder what G’s aff. account numbers are for Party?

InactiveI think bringing this story out into the open can only be a good thing.
“Online gambling webmasters expose corruption at google” – reads pretty damn fine to me.

I disagree. I think we may add more fuel to the fire if we have ‘online gambling’ and ‘google’ in the same news headline.
