Travel is my first love. I only got into doing casino sites as a diversion from the frustrations and goofiness of google, click fraud and all the other junk out there. But as they say “out of the pot and into the fire”.

Travel AND Casino sites were sooo much easier to be successful at in the past. With my general Pollyana viewpoint I just wish all those culprits out there would “give it a rest”. But as I’ve seen here, what’s deemed good for some is bad for others.

Sometimes it’s hard to separate fact from hype and I should slap myself to remember to come to this forum and look around before I promote a new casino.

I got the gist about cpays and some of their affiliates. However, is there anything out there about the casinos, their games and payouts to winners? Since I’ve already spent a lot of time with my pages, for me, this would mean the difference between
    – ceasing promoting these sites versus
    – removing/changing my pages.

    Hiya rmeeuwsen,

I put all of the links I can fit into my signature ;) I don’t intentionally piss people off, but hey, you can’t expect people to agree with you all of the time.

For instance… I respect Dom, she’s one of the people I first started to … well study makes her sound like a science project.. but anyway I watched her for along time when I started out, and later got a job from her…

She makes money, I wanted to make money .. get the idea ;) anyway, in this thread, I disagreed with Dom, right here for the world to see. However, I am pretty darn sure that Dom is not sitting in front of her pc right now plotting her revenge.. I betchya she won’t scrape any of my sites.. she won’t ‘go after me’ in any way shape or form.

She’s a smart girl, and an honest business woman. There’s always someone that you don’t agree with when there are two sides of a debate.. that’s no reason to hide, you shouldn’t have to.. which is a strong point this thread makes, there are consequences to actions..

If you’re so afraid of pissing someone off and them scraping your site.. or whatever other revenge they might dish out.. well gee… aren’t you really afraid to even have a site?

Backlinks are a huge part of promoting your site, and here at CAP theyre free! Amazing and Great!

Excellent post LH and I agree completely. It’s too bad the forum doesn’t implement ‘Thanks’ or ‘Karma’ or something like that :)

Oh, I’m not afraid of the nice people like you two and others I’ve heard from, it’s the freaks and hardcore fanatics that give me cause to reflect.

I agree with links and helping out others with advice, it’s good to give and get. :chearlead
I also do it when I can. That’s why I’m in this forum.

Now, does anyone have any feedback on the cpay casino games and payouts? I’m not playing a game of “stump the band”, I was just wondering if their attitude carries over to the games.

Cpays are Playtech casinos. They have good games. They have started to make an effort to roll out some better slots.

If you want to hear what players say, you need to go to CasinoMeister or Winneronline or the onlineplayersunion and type the casino names into the search there. You know, Club Dice etc, all the individual casinos.

You shouldn’t worry about placing your link in your signature – your website will be scraped either way…:cuss:

Personally – I would not recommend getting off the business just because people have “blacklisted” Cpays – if you look closely – they are blacklisting because of the aff program marketing methods. Not for casino non-payment or cheating on the stats.
The APCW was not able to prove any wrongdoing which makes me sleep a little better ( http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?p=77743 ).
The casinos are very good, lots of people play, and a bunch of them win on a regular basis, and I do see payouts going out of my stats :D

There are many, MANY scrapers out there, not just cpays but 888, casino partners, iog casinos etc. (just go through yahoo and you’ll see them all). You sould not worry about that – it has been part of the industy for about 2 years now, and the search engines are smart to catch it (Yahoo always excluded). I am about to post my idea on how to fight the scrapers on the “Newbie” corner – so take a look after it’s up.

One should very much worry about that, the only way to stop the thieves is to have the programs stop paying them to steal.

Cut their cashflow and you will force them to target other industries. That way the casino industry should be kept clean at least. Rogue programs will feel the backlash.

100% correct. If they are not paid, they will leave. End of story.

And – BTW – I don’t care what anyone says – If a casino is willing to market like this, then they are willing to shaft the players also. There is NO doubt in my mind of this.

I, agree. It doesn´t make sense to assume they would screw one of the parties involved and stop at messing with players. It´s more difficult to mess with players though as they can see all the numbers and know their balance sheet whereas affiliates will have to go as far as to run independent little audits.

Not really – There has been a rash of casinos (especially Playtech) renigging on bonus play even though the player has done no wrong (except win a little). That – is very unethical…. and rogue, IMO.
