GuestI didn’t think Arkyt was flaming.
I would hope that people are still allowed to speak their mind on the public forums.
CAP’s focus used to be on the affiliates – a forum for them.
Looks to me as if the only public flaming allowed are the ones accusing affiliates of fraud…..
The recent shift in CAP’s focus is glaring.

InactiveI think there’s a big distinction between an individual expressing his opinion on a public forum and that opinion being that of the forum’s owner. As such, I don’t feel like it’s necessary to move that opinion to a “private” area. If an affiliate program is offended by something someone posts in the public area, they are welcome to respond to it accordingly.
I don’t feel like Arkyt was flaming at all, and I don’t feel like Classics was pouring gasoline on a fire. I think the point they were both making, and the point that I’m trying to make, is that public discussion is a good thing. Arkyt didn’t call anyone any names or make any direct accusations, he pointed out a problem and then used an absurd hypothetical situation to elaborate and illustrate his point.
As far as the affiliate programs paying for us to have this space to discuss these things, they only pay for the space here because casino webmasters come here to discuss things. They’re paying to advertise to us, and they want us here participating in discussions so we’ll see more advertising.
I generally refrain from making critical posts, but I think that this situation warrants a second look.
Apologies in advance to anyone who takes offense to this–offending anyone is not my intention; provoking some thinking is my intention.

InactiveShit!
This is supposed to be a professional forum where business is conducted, not a bash ’em in and free for all making allegations that are unfounded. For that you can go to GPWA and flame to your heart’s content.
You have been giving Lou grief for some time now and it sure sounds like he’s finally had enough.
Sometimes this place is like minding a kindergarden with all these egos and agendas and cliques and everything.
This place is for BUSINESS. Not wild accusations, not attacks, nor any of that.
I sure hope Lou reconsiders.
Damn, I am every bit as angry about this!
Behave the way you would in a brick and mortar business. This is not a fantasy, this is real life and people make a real livelihood here!

InactiveTake a day or two off if need be, but please do not give up on a worthy cause and an excellent project – CAP.
I apologize for upsetting you and creating this situation. Your unexpected response (closing cap) is a major tell – something more is bothering you. If it’s any thing that I or anyone else can help with please let me/us know. I will give you a call tomorrow and we can talk.
I fully understand you point of view, but in this case, I don’t think I did anything wrong – I merely spoke my mind and stated opinion utilizing innuendo that most if not ALL of us have some sort of faith in.
Dominique – NO one was flaming! I made NO accusations! No one was acting like a kindergarten student! If you can find any of these things I’d sure appreciate you pointing them out to me.
“you have been giving Lou grief” WHAT I have??? PLEASE EXPLAIN !!!
Furthermore, I can’t believe you have the audacity telling me/us anyone to go to GPWA and flame when you were the first to head over to WOL and post about the CPA calamity without presenting evidence! The very thing that you bitched and moaned about for a good six months or more regarding you, Cindy, and gpwa!
In closing, I stand by my opinion that I did nothing out of line. I do however acknowledge Lou’s point of view and fully comprehend his position. Things should be done in a professional manner – I always try to achieve this in the things I do, but no one is perfect at the same time striving for that perfection permits me/us to be the best I/we can be.
We should all keep these characteristics in mind …
* TRUST * INTEGRITY * RESPECT *
Now how about a group hug ???

Inactive“you have been giving Lou grief” WHAT I have??? PLEASE EXPLAIN !!!
This referred to the membership at large over the last two weeks or so.
I like to think Peralis is right and this is a recurrent thing prior to conferences. I do see a pattern.
As for my exlamation “shit” – this is the private section. Any suspicions etc can be posted here. Out there things may be unprofessional or illegal as in libel and slander – but in here we should all be able to voice things freely.
Yes Krystal, way off track. And those chargebacks are horrendous.

I recall exactly who pushed for the naming of names regarding the CPA issue and in the public forum – and yes I asked for a public hanging, but not without evidence! Oh well life goes on!
Regarding the chargebacks – like I said – if Coins is shaving my measly profits – I figured they would indeed be hitting the big boys even harder and that appears to be the case!
This is ridiculous and IMHO an obvious sign of cheating! WHY is it that Coins is having these problems – and in much, much, much, greater numbers than any other program?
Something is going on here! If it’s the check issue – WHY would they continue to offer that method of deposit? Makes NO sense at all!
I think they are using chargebacks as a way for selectively shaving – to pay winners, pad their personal profits, go on trips, and what not …. Sad thing is they are probably doing this on top of normal shaving!
Cant wait to visit Connie in Vegas!

InactiveI’ve already apologized to Lou in private, but I’m going to apologize to him in public too. I added fuel to a fire that shouldn’t have even been started yesterday with my post, and I’m sorry that I did.
This website belongs to him. It’s his business. We are his guests here. The affiliate programs are also his guests here.
He has asked that we keep our comments in the public area concise and “just the facts” when those comments are critical of programs. This is in order to better facilitate solutions with the affiliate programs.
He has asked that suspicions, flames and other “beating up the programs” posts be kept in the private section.
His requests are reasonable, and I intend to abide by these requests and ask everyone else to do the same.
CAP is a good community to be a member of. I owe a lot to Lou and the other members here.

InactiveWell if i added up all my chargebacks for the last 2 years with all programs combined they would not add up to what coins has in chargebacks by themselves.
So is it shaving? Don’t know but I do agree something is not right there.
There has been several of us at CAP’s that have talked in length with Connie about these issues and it has done no good. Maybe Arkyt she will listen to you.. I hope so.
