vladcizsolMemberI have to admit I have had more chargebacks at Casino Coins then all my other partners combined.
When I have questioned them about this in the past I was told the majority of chargebacks were coming from Citadel and were fraudulent checks posted by players.

InactiveWell I have never contacted them about chargebacks until today (Having just noticed I had one in both August and September) so I don’t know what excuse they will give.
I will say that if they told you it was citadel that was responsible for all the chargebacks WTF would they still utilize that method?
I discovered the chargeback when the amount paid into my Neteller was less than I had recorded into my records last week. A huge bell went DING-DONG the witch is dead the wicked … (sorry and oz moment!)
Conspiracy theorist would say their delay in August payments was done to selectively pay for their trip to Vegas!
I feel sorry for the bigger boys, because if they were taking from my measly profits at Coins they most likely hit you really hard!

InactiveCoins is the only place I have ever had chargebacks with.
Also, a little birdie tells me that Virtual Exchange processes the chargebacks once every three months, so they all hit at once.
Bet CC isn’t entirely happy with that either – all those complaining affiliates all at once!

vladcizsolMemberArkyt lets be careful about making wildly unsubstantiated claims.
You have an issue with chargebacks. Let’s focus on that instead of deciding that all of this has something to do with a conference.
We could just as easily claim it was due to the size of your shoes and we have just as much proof. Its not professional to accuse people or partners of things with absolutely nothing to go on other then YOUR BELIEF that conferences are evil and costing you money.
I agreed that there IS a problem with chargebacks, I told you what they told me, once they respond to you lets see what they tell YOU and compare notes. If we focus on the problem we might make some progress.

InactiveThat innuendo was NOT a claim nor stated as fact.
What happened to encouraging discussion for the sake of debate?
twice in one week?

vladcizsolMemberTwo chargebacks in one week?
September 14, 2004 at 9:37 pm #655018
vladcizsolMemberArkyt you are having this discussion in a PUBLIC FORUM. If you do that in PUBLIC please try to post in a concise manner about whats going on and provide details with out all the added Inuendo. If you want more leeway then post in the private areas where we are more liberal in our discussions.
Is that too much to ask?

InactiveWhats up Lou?
In the last few days I have sensed a great deal of tension? Is it the Hurricanes? The CPA debacle? Hell the other day you busted my balls for asking why I should come to the conference NOW your busting my balls cause I make a “common” inference?
Just the other day you yourself posted a shaving photograph in the poll regarding convention shaving … I see that poll has been removed. It WAS in the public area!
What gives man? This place has always encouraged open discussion. You know full well I am an outspoken person – so why are you busting my balls for something that I have always done?
If you believe that my comments could do harm to the forum or myself why not move it to the cellar and/or contact me via pm/email/phone – no need to bust me here!

Inactive“If you want more leeway then post in the private areas where we are more liberal in our discussions.”
That is a shame because the exact opposite should occur.

vladcizsolMemberCall me arkyt.
Classics I dont appreciate you adding gasoline to the fire. You generally acknowledge the need to keep discussions professional and accurate, why the sudden change of heart?
September 14, 2004 at 10:14 pm #655022
vladcizsolMemberYou know what Arkyt, youre right. I am moving this to private area and should have done so initially. Sorry for not thinking of it.
September 14, 2004 at 10:19 pm #655023
vladcizsolMemberOk now that its in private you can take the gloves off if you want. I am going to be monitoring the public posts and threads more closely as we are getting a little too wild lately. The Affiliate Fraud thread was a prime example.
Guys I dont want CAP to be perceived as a wild flame fest where affiliates bash the shit out of programs or each other. We have traditionally been more professional in our behavior and I want to ensure we stay that way.
If you want to raise hell do it here in private to down in the free for all area. The business areas of the board need to remain focused on business and not get too carried away.

InactiveI don’t feel so bad … I haven’t gotten a chargeback
since June 2003 but then again it’s been since about that
time that I have removed 99% of their links … hey guys
what happened with the convention shaving poll ?
If this is an issue to most of the affiliates it should be
addressed … no ?

vladcizsolMemberAleph do we have any proof of this?
You have to understand that CAP is not a playground. Its a business and a community built around business. The shaving thread was fun, but it was offensive to our casino partners. They are a part of the community too and they pay to keep things
running here. I dont think its fair to always shit on them especially when we have no proof at all that any of that shaving around conferences stuff is true. Now in private if you want to discuss it where the casinos wont be offended thats fine.
Personally I do think whenever expenses go up for the casinos they pass some of this on to the affiliates, so there may be a case for increased haircuts during convention months. Buts lets keep that here between us affiliates as we have nothing to back these theories up at all.
