InactiveShow me a man who can play basic strategy Blackjack while engaged in porn activities.
I want to hire such an accomplished multi tasker!

Personally I don’t have a problem with porn, but I would consider it distracting from gambling. Strip poker seems to work though for people.

SodaxMemberwell, thank you for the kind words everybody.
“engaging in porn activities”??… hehe, what an iteresting choice of vocabulary.
People, basic strategy is not what we are here for – we want to convey the message to the general audience that they are getting the value for the money the choose to spend buying our stuff. The way I see it – gambling affiliates can full heartedly diversify from their usual mainstay; in most cases it will only do good to your business, while not taking away the essential core of your business.
besides – some unobjectionable sexual imagery is good for you!
and it is deffinitely good for your card-playing customers.NOW, what about CPA on fun players on striphilo.com. who’s for it?

supervinceMemberThe thing about this is that our websites target online gambling. When visitors come to our websites its for online gambling. Now if I put up your banner on my website would I make some money from it? I probably would. But it wouldn’t make nearly as much money as a casino banner in that same spot. Our traffic is targeted for online gambling and thats something you don’t offer.
NOW, what about CPA on fun players on striphilo.com. who’s for it?
How much CPA you talking about? I don’t think I would send a mailout to my list for obvious reasons or put banners on my website, but I might be willing to do a blog post.

InactiveIf they’re a legitimate operator, and nobody is being scammed, they should be able to get CAP accreditation.
There isn’t much gambling there, it’s primarily a porn site. I think it’s a good crossover between adult and gambling though.
It looks pretty legit to me.
http://www.camsense.com/newproducts.htmlRather than looking at it the same way you look at a casino / poker room / standard igaming operation, you would be better off creating a ‘crossover’ category for sites like this which mix gambling with something else.
Fair dealings with Customers, Affiliates and other business partners are the most important thing to me. By all accounts these guys are above board and legit.

InactiveHmmmm
Any affiliate manager who has been in the business for a few years will tell you that gambling and sex do not convert. It has been tested over and over again and each time has proven not to convert. In fact, depending on how you promote the two together, it sometimes even hurts your SE rankings.
I know a guy (one of the big guys in both industries) who promotes both porn and online casino/poker/sportsbook… he has been around for years and tries the two together about once a year to once every 6 months just in case anything has changed since last time. He has never had a success.
While I have nothing against the porn industry at all, I’m going to have to agree with the affiliates on this one. Adding programs to this forum where Online Gaming is not their main thing (i.e. they are not an online casino, online poker, sportsbook) will move the industry in the wrong direction and while it’s hard enough already for the US market alone, I don’t think we need to be adding to the pot.
Anyone can search the net and find free porn pics or movies. I used to do it myself when I was underage, so I know it can be done. But if online gaming banners start appearing on these sites too, there will be even bigger fish to fry than what we have on our hands now, especially if it looks like we are completely accepting of this by having, imho, a porn aff program certified on an online gaming aff forum.

gambling and sex goes together. Vegas, Los angeles, gambling and sex been together for years. Gambling is for Adults, sex is for adults, if you dont like it dont look.
Porn/nude adult females or males is not illegal if you disclose the right information.Gambling and sex most likely goes together offline. And I agree with you – If you don’t like it don’t look – but we gotta be realistic – not everyone thinks like online casino and porn affiliates.
For example, Big Brother here in Australia had an adults only show up until last year because an incident occurred involving something called a ‘Turkey Slap’ and politicians didn’t approve of it. People complained etc. Mind you it wasn’t even aired on tv. The only people who were able to see it were the people who paid for premium streaming over the net. These people had to be 18 to buy this streaming. The TV show has been criticised for years because of its voyeuristic nature and obviously was even more after this because the girl involved wasn’t keen on the idea of being ‘Turkey Slapped’. So the two boys got evicted immediately and there was a lot of controversy regarding it.
Because of that the uncut adults only show got axed. Personally I don’t think the two were related in any way. Most of what was on the adults only show was just uncut bleeps on the swearing and them talking about things that can’t be aired during family time. So it was all the good stuff. My opinion was, if you don’t like it don’t watch it. However because that was (in their opinion) directly related to ‘uncut’ they axed it completely.
I suppose what I’m trying to say is, if they can point the finger badly toward our industry in any way, they will, and they will go full steam ahead with it.This is all in my own opinion and I’m in no way forcing it apon anyone else. Everyone is entitled to their own. I sincerely hope I haven’t offended anyone with what I’ve said either.
I’m sure there are porn industry affiliate program forums which would be much better suited to the type of site you are trying to get approved Yoav (perhaps http://www.affiliateprograms.com would have been a better choice?) Good luck

BTW – if anyone tries this program and it works for them, I would be interested to hear more about it. Cheers.

Well put. I feel the same way.
