I would give it a big fat NOOOO. Doesn’t look like gambling is even involved. Leave it for the porn webmasters.

PS – Shouldn’t this have been posted in the private discussion?

Can “exciting Strip Games” be described/considered as gambling? I don’t think so, but that’s just IMHO.

    :)

well that all depends? personally ….. i’d say you’re really gambling if you want to take the chance of seeing my fat ass naked online lol.

They do have an excellent record with adult webmasters so they pass the due dilligence checks with regards to paying affiliates,

    Professor,

If it is who I think it is, I know a lot of affiliates who have been stiffed by this guy – as big as they are with their network of sites. Affiiates have been stiffed when they legitmatley changed their earnings model, and on the revenue generated by their subaffiliates.

I know guys who have been stiffed 10K+ a month. :bullshit:

    Nevertheless…

This is really a gimmick – showing cam porn, on the premise that there is a gambling edge to it. Not really what we want in our industry… porn disguising itself as gaming?

yes, trouble with it is it goes to an affiliate grouping with all other adult programs, but the main program you get 40%. I cannot see what you get with this program?

can anyway see what % you get for striphilo.com?

I have used a similar program on http://www.beststrippoker.com – it is called bunnypoker.com and it is run through bloomcash.com – results ZILCH (zero) (0) (nothing).

They offer a “whopping” 50%, but as common sense suggests, 50% of nothing is nothing, but 10% of a good program is much better to be involved with.

having said that I will try this program out myself and see what happens.

Guys we decided we are NOT going to certify this program at CAP. When I was first forwarded the application I had misgivings about it, but I did want to get other peoples input on it.

Thanks for the feedback. I think unless a key component of the program is gaming related or possibly a webmaster service or tool then its probably not a good candidate for certification.

Kar thanks for the heads up, we checked with a few adult webmasters we knew through our retail channels and they seemed happy with their payments. In addition to a general discomfort with the materials being sold this is one of the things that always caused me to steer clear of adult programs; they seem more prone to fraudlent behavior by program operators.

    Hello,
I am Yoav, Head of Online Sales for CC Media – we run and operate striphilo.com.

I wish to thank you for all the comments posted here (positive, lukewarm and negative alike) – they mostly seem only constructive in this dialogue. However, I am compelled to make some clarifications and explain our position, and to explain why we submit our application to this platform:

First, as for the credibility of our program – since I joined the company (a few months back) I can say that our record in terms of affiliate relations and payments has been spotless. We are totally open and transparent to our affiliates. I do not know of “a guy” whose “affiliates have been stiffed by”, but I welcome any comment and any issue to be opened, even if ancient, by our affiliates. Our affiliate account managers can and will bring any open item to a satisfactory resolution.

Further, about the actual product – Our product is a combination (although somewhat rudimentary) of a card-game experience and adult-style flirtation with live chat hosts (in a totally unobjectionable manner, eventhough nudity prevails :) ). The purpose for which we wish to approach gambling affiliate is that we believe that our product has features that can and do appeal to gambling-targeted audience, and it can serve as a very refreshing addition to any gambling affiliate site. Since, as truely stated, the game is not played for real money, but paid by the minute (the only things at stake are items of clothing worn by the chat-hosts) it is not “real money” gambling, and as such – WE CAN LEGALLY ACCOMODATE CUSTOMERS FROM ANY COUNTRY (US included). For you, the gambling affiliate community, it must be good news. The adult aspect of the operation is evident, but the main issue to promote is the GAME itself and fun experience.

From your comments I pick up “hard core” gambling affiliate attitude -(“I will not promote if it is not gambling per-se” etc…). I wish to extend an invitation to all of you out there and give you trial accounts on the site, just to try it out and see if it can potentially appeal to your customers. From “feelers” we sent to gambling audience, I have strong reason to believe it will.

As for our commission structure – So far we have been working on a revenue share model, averaging on 25% rev/share (below or above that is quite depending on performance). Since we wish to creat a broad appeal to gaming/gambling/entertainment affiliates we are building CPA program as well.

Please post your comments in largesse – positive or negative and I will be delighted to participate in any discussion.

CAP stands for Casino Affiliate Programs. From what we can see on your website and from what you just said, you are not a casino. You don’t have a license to operate a casino. No matter how you look at it, your website is adult oriented and has nothing at all to do with gambling. No offense intended because I love the adult industry just as much as the next guy but its not related to gambling. Im sure you would have way better results if you actually targeted your own market.

Hey Rob, thanks for the comment. no offence taken at all ;).
However – I am trying to appeal to your open mindedness about your own audience.
no, we are not an online casino, we develop a gaming experience that can appeal to this industry.
Just think of the oportunity here – this is coming from the adult industry, but in a very mild form, and it features A GAME which is totally legal in all 50 US States (maybe Alabama may beg to differ… :) ) and is targeted to gambling audience as much as it is targeted to “classic” adult audience (in my view, even more, since we don’t have porn-based plots or situations embedded in our striphilo.com platform).

if we let these programs in then next thing we will get the celebrity paris hilton porn video places wanting in because there was a casino chip on the night stand .Other programs realise the value of Cap and the affiliates who frequet here.If i had somethign to sell online I would want us to do it too .Thanks for watching out for us Lou .BTW 25% is low commission for our industry.

I think this is being pushed to the absurd. With all due respect for the people who sell Paris Hilton’s videos (I actually know the guy :) ), we are not that sort of affiliate program, and our product has nothing to do with it.
I don’t think you need to be “watched over” in this aspect – we are not praying on inocent affiliates here – we are trying to give a good product which is TOTALLY relevant to your content and business and can serve as (a) complementary and / or novelty product for your viewers, and (b) a solution for your lamentably lost US business.

As for commissions – I myself am an offspring of the online gambling industry – so I am fully aware of commission standards here. If you read carefully I said that we were in the process of offering good bargains for your efforts in terms of CPA (we may even consider CPA for REGISTRATIONS and not only real money players – show me an online casino aff. program that would offer you that).

    With Respect
