Sorry, just didn’t realise that’s all :sarcasm:
January 17, 2009 at 11:43 am #792825vladcizsolMemberEclipse the CAP Audits are designed to help us uncover and correct any discrepencies in the stats and player tracking of our certified partner programs. If a program refuses to address or correct problems or we believe a discprency is intentional (shaving) then yes they will be de-certified.
If they are cooperative and develop a solution and are responsive they stay and we have done our job properly. The affiliates benefit and the certified partner is made aware of, and has the opportunity to correct, a problem or flaw they may not even knew existed.
Auditing our certified partners reinforces the value and meaning of CAP certification. It benefits affiliates and it benefits the program. I would not consider that a conflict of interest.
January 18, 2009 at 4:54 pm #792885biggygMemberI really don’t think there is any HONEST explanation for discripencies in the stats and player tracking .There are so many honest programs out there that we don’t have to deal with programs who shave down the stats.I rather work with a honest program and get 25% revenue than soembody who resorts to this and claims to pay us 40%.I was wondering also who decides what program to audit?
Can we privately give our top 5 we are in doubt of or something like that?Or is the plan to eventually audit all programs?January 18, 2009 at 5:20 pm #792886AnonymousInactiveWell, new programs with proprietary tracking programs sometimes have bugs they are not aware of. These bugs can work for or against you.
Dunno how the audits are chosen, but I bet suggestions are welcome.

I hope that answers any outstanding questions. The whitepaper on the most recent CAP Audit should be available tomorrow.
:hattip:It’s been a few days since Arjun said the whitepaper should be available tomorrow. Am I missing it? Where can we find it?
January 18, 2009 at 5:44 pm #792888AnonymousInactiveDunno, I assume it will show up Monday.
January 19, 2009 at 2:41 pm #792925AnonymousInactiveDid I miss this or will this show up later in the day? :hattip:
January 19, 2009 at 3:39 pm #792932AnonymousInactiveI don’t see it yet, but then it’s 7:30 am here…

Just one so far.
Hopefully the results will be posted soon.
January 19, 2009 at 8:18 pm #792961vladcizsolMemberI spoke with Senior Managaement of Rome Casino and the President of Top Game this past weekend and are awaiting word back from their engineering team who are going to identify and correct the discrepencies the audit uncovered. The white paper in PDF and html format is ready pending the update from Top Game.
Then we launch our next audit which is WAY overdue. In the future we hope to be able to gather and process the data faster. Also this first audit uncovered a few big issues which had to be corrected. I attribute this to the fact that Top Game is a new platform and is still ironing out the product. I am fairly sure a seasoned platform would not require this much additional work.

Hi Professor,
Are you going to let us know the details of the inaccuracy found, even if it gets fixed? I’m not sure I understand why we have to wait for their corrections to report the results from your testing.
We’re all anxious to see the results I guess.
January 20, 2009 at 4:33 pm #793090vladcizsolMemberWe received the official response from Top Game and will include that along with our white paper outlining the audit today.
January 20, 2009 at 4:37 pm #793091AnonymousInactiveI don’t like the idea of “fixing the problem”. We all know casinos like Rome pay $25’000 a year to be certified. They are now allowed to “fix the problem” and make some BS official statement , its like saying you can cheat untill you are caught if you are caught you have to fix it
