Well now, I am going to be there, and if that’s not worth the price of admission, I have some very hot girlfriends accompanying me
I think I would like to see Antoine and Kevin there, you’re in Canada dammit, support the Canadian Convention
It’s still a 6 hour or so flight. i’ve been on a road trip for over 40 days now, maybe I’ll decide to take a break from my travels to fly to the convention… but if I do it will be last minute and I highly doubt i I will.
Mind you when I hear girls it’s usually difficult to pull me away, Kevin can testify to that.

I’m sorry to any that find me harsh. but i can’t stand seeing good people spending hard earned money on promises that are inferred … but not going to happen.
if that makes me a bad person ….then so be it. but the truth is … there’s little reason to attend this meeting. When you don’t see programs attending in mass support…. …..well I think that says it all.
*after I wrote this …. I’d like to add. Marc has gained affs good deals in the past… and I applaud him for that…. but at the same time … my take is just what i wrote.
I may be too quick to judge… as he has maintained this is for die hards.

You come to my part of the country supposedly looking to buy a house and instead you are trying to break the record for most dates in a month.
I’m likely gonna pass on Montreal and do Barcelona instead buy I might make a last minute decision to attend.

I got a couple new poker sites about to go, and I got Chipleader as one of my preferred players running the show, figured i’d show up there with a pretty girl on each arm, sharp threads, u know, style it up a bit
I have an abundance of pretty women, if I knew there was a shortage I would’ve brought more, u should’ve dialed me in sooner…Pimp
Anyway, i’m sure there will be pretty girls up there, maybe not as pretty as mine, but that’s what liquor is for.
Good conference for me. Plenty of affiliate programs there for affiliates covering sports, casino and poker. Got a chance to hook up enough good business relationships to make it very worthwhile.

Without conferences like this then affiliate managers don’t get a chance to meet new affiliates face to face and similarly affiliates don’t get to meet their managers.
Shows like this are a good thing for the industry, where else can you get to meet the people that make it happen for you? I am referring to bother managers on the operations side and to affiliates. It’s a two way thing and one can’t exist without the other.
Any affiliate or operation who was put off because of the pre-conference press about underselling well, you helped make the turn out low.
Since BB1 had his say about it I just thought that I could too and I respect everyone’s opinion and right to express it. I am also not condemning people who couldn’t turn up because of other commitments or because of financial issues.
On that note, I hope to be in Macao for the next CAC and I’m definitely in Barcelona for CAP Euro :hattip:
For personal reasons I have to cut down on conferences a bit (planning to be in Barcelona and Amsterdam) but I couldn’t agree more that they are a most important tool in making your business successful.
I have been attending almost all of them for some 5 years and found them to be extremely helpful.
When you read a lot of the posts about them it’s all about parties and fun, and heck yeah, once we are there we’re going to have some fun.
But the most important thing is what you take home with you. No, I am not talking about free tee shirts and toys (although they are fun and always appreciated). It’s friendships, improved business relationships and new ideas.

Haha, yeah, I’m too old for that s#!t, especially the late night ones. Used to have lots of fun there though and lots of people love them.
I like the lunches and dinners and afternoon outings and early evening get togethers, but I go home at bedtime, which is early for me. I am nuts too and get up very early to get some work done before the conference day starts…
But that’s part of the good thing about them, there is something going on for everyone…

:hattip:I’m half tempted with the Macao event – and it’s as close as they’ve come so far – but 12 hours flight time + 12 hours waiting each way is still a LOOONNG way.
… especially as we’re not looking for new deals.
