Never been to Quadra, but I have spent a lot of time on Vancouver Island… what made you move and where to?

Also in South Africa, exotic is what brand the gun is thats pointed at you while sitting in your car haha ;)

But been to a few places around the world and Brazil was on of my favourite, amazing beaches and water with sea life everywhere.

Hamburg is nice too, old and new together, I like that. Also of course it has all the infrustracture. Power and internet connection are vital in our work.

Just personal stuff along with health insurance. My wife also loves horses and it’s not really a horse friendly island (too much rock). We now live in the middle of nowhere. Got a little ranch on the river. Butt cold in the winter but paradise in the summer :)

We go to BC every year Salmon Fishing , we always rent a place at telegraph Cove. The Killer whales are there feeding when we go and we have some awesome video of dolphins crossing over the bow of our boat ,it was first time i seen dolphins swimming with a boat and it was like they were playing a game with us.
Our CEO loves to fish so he takes all of us for business strategy and fishing trip .Last year i caught a 28 pound Halibut ,well i hooked it but i am not
nervey enough yet to land it in the boat and kill the darn thing LOL

I caught my first halibut in Telegraph Cove too :). Beautiful place. Your right about being nervous around halibut. I’ve heard stories of legs being broken by a flip of the tail. I guess the guy in this video hadn’t heard about the danger… he got lucky http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKDLs7A7PUE

I’ve travelled a fair bit (Australia, NZ and South east Asia) and came accross some amazing places I could quite easily live. The east coast oz is amazing but can be fairly expensive.
I visited some Islands in Thailand, Malaysia and Phillipines and they were stunning, but running a business out their might be a bit more dificult i.e. getting a stable internet connection and even 24/7 electricity.
Ideally I would live somewhere in South east asia area (probably Malaysia) as I love the region and the £ goes a long way ;) (and it’s closer to Macua)

Quadra is definitely a beautiful place although I prefer Denman Island. But like all places Canada, the summers are too short for me. Antoine getting a Caribbean home idea suits me as well.

You guys are living my dream. I’ve traveled quite a bit and it has always been my dream to live anywhere where the climate is good year round, the surf is great and I can make a great living over the internet.

I just got back from Bali, Indonesia and the surf was amazing, the whether was better than California, the people are incredibly friendly and everything was really cheap. I had a similar experience in Costa Rica.

I love South East Asia. Thailand or Vietnam would be great also except no there’s not much surf. The only problem is it would be tough getting high speed internet in Vietnam. When I was there, I couldn’t find one that wouldn’t drive me up the wall. Does anyone know how the internet connection is like in Thailand or Malaysia?
