Guys I just received the following email from Hype:
Quote:Dear Professor,We are the licensee of the Software for Hype Gaming Casino and we have been monitoring the situation regarding Hype Casino not paying their affiliates. Affiliates are very important to us as they promote and provide value to our casino clients.
Therefore we will not stand by and allow this to continue.
The Licensee has regretfully suspended Hype Management from Managing Hype Casino.
We wish to firstly advise that all Players Payments are absolutely safe and are being paid as the licensee will ensure that this is covered.
We have made a request to the previous Hype Management to immediately pay their affiliates and we have given them 72 hours to respond.
After this time has expired we will write to you again and advise if we have been successful and what the next steps we intend to take are.
We ask that you please provide us this time to allow us to attempt to retrieve your monies from the previous Hype Management.
Thank you for your patience and we wish to reinforce that we will not allow Casino Operators to not pay Affiliates.
Yours Faithfully
Casino Licensee
May 14, 2007 at 12:11 pm #736708AnonymousInactiveLooks promising… I received the same email. I hope this is an effort to completely revamp the brand and pay all those owed. This is excellent software and I would HATE to see it go away.
May 14, 2007 at 12:16 pm #736711vladcizsolMemberI love the software too. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
May 14, 2007 at 1:53 pm #736730biggygMemberI am praying over here because they owe me $xxxx.xx from last month and already $xxxx.xx in may.Of all programs to hook a whale grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
May 14, 2007 at 1:58 pm #736731AnonymousInactivegood luck CBG… I’m in the same boat except that I have a lot of players that all play consistently. It is a fun casino and players DO play a lot there once they are signed up.
I hope they get this all fixed. I guess (according to the email) we wait 72 hours and then hopefully will get more info.
Sounds interesting and let’s all hope that they come back in a big way and become a more honest and trustworthy property.
May 14, 2007 at 2:31 pm #736741AnonymousInactiveHi Guys,
Well … I guess now you all know why I’ve been so quiet over the last few weeks. Because of my contract, I haven’t been able to make any comments on what is happening behind closed doors re: the Hype Gaming Company.
I trust you’ll understand the position I’m in and why I couldn’t speak publicly on the situation. For those of you who thought I had disappeared and “gone in hiding” this was certainly not the case.
With that said, I also understand the situation all of you are in who are owed money. All I can do is thank you for supporting MY efforts on running your affiliate program and for sticking by me for all these months. I hope things turn out for the best for all of us. Let’s wait and see what happens next …
Cheers,
JustinMay 14, 2007 at 2:35 pm #736742AnonymousInactiveThanks for responding Justin – I’m sure there will be TONS of questions coming next
I have many myself…
May 14, 2007 at 2:35 pm #736743AnonymousInactiveJustin, I assumed that you were not able to comment and understand that fully.
We will wait for things to unravel, which undoubtedly they will.
Not to worry, I know you always do the best you can.
May 14, 2007 at 2:45 pm #736746AnonymousInactiveWell that don’t answer the question of BEFORE this all accured why were some affiliates paid and others not and this is going back for months it is not like this just took place 30 days ago.
I understand your position and I have thought you did a great job Justin but I am sorry this whole thing took months before it spun out of control, I like you and I like the software but seriously bills need to be paid, so with that said I hope for the best.
Since your still using the HYPE name and sig I assume your staying with them and the affiliate program will be returned to you to run soon?
It will take much consideration for me to think about putting banners up again, I would have to sit and watch for a few months to see how things go at this point I have no faith in HYPE.
May 14, 2007 at 3:05 pm #736755biggygMemberJustin is there anything you can say? Like when we will get paid and more importantly why should we keep your banners up?

72 hours are up , any news lou?May 17, 2007 at 3:03 pm #737167vladcizsolMemberI havent heard anything new….
May 17, 2007 at 3:45 pm #737176AnonymousInactiveMe neither It would be VERY bad, I think, if they made a 72 hour notice email and then did NOT follow up.
This would say to me that they are not serious about change and it is business as usual. Let’s hope that they do not do this.
Currently Hype Partners has been suspended at AffiliateGuardDog.com as well and the home page reflects that it is a program under warning.
May 21, 2007 at 7:51 am #737448AnonymousInactiveAny new developments yet?
May 21, 2007 at 11:44 am #737464AnonymousInactiveYes – there was another email after the 72 hours. There should be another email today, I would hope, since the email stated that they would make another announcement on Sunday (which already passed).
Let’s hope they will make another announcement! One that mentions being paid would be very nice.
