February earnings

Dominique asked 3 years ago
We’re almost half way through february – how are you doing?

February is supposed to be lower in general, so make sure you compare to last year’s trend.

Actually February is “BAD”. So was January. I hope that 2008 is not an indictation of the first two months of this year!
I started a new web site because of the action I saw the last few months of last year.

February is my worst.

Many programs below average and some are negative.

I know, Oil effects everything and it topped $100 a barell again this morning.
With the growth of China and India oil and gas prices are here to stay.

The urgency in which the fed cut the rates and congress passed the stimulus package leads me to believe the economy is a bigger problem than is let on to be.

Could be but the US economy is in a major slowdown if not a recession. (a recession is defined as 2 or more quarters of negative GDP growth, last quarter it grew at .6% compared to the previous quarter of about 4.9%)

The Federal Reserve cut short term interest rates twice in 9 days which is hardly done if ever and the Congress passed that economic stimulus package last week so hopfully it will be short lived. That sub-prime loan mess didn’t help.

I have been following the housing and stock market for the past several months. With foreclosures on the rise and home values sinking, the lack of confidence is there. Gas prices continue to rise and that is driving up food, clothing, and other goods prices. This leaves many with little or no deposable income for entertainment. This coupled with payment processing problems is and will damper business for months to come. I believe the US is already in a recession that will be a long one. The housing market problems and high gas prices are not going away anytime soon.

February is a month I really would like to forget uptil now. All programs below average and some below sub zero. I can pay the basic needs :wink-wink

Could it be that recent problems with the payment processors and regulation has something to do with it ?

It’s an odd month. My US-facing properties are doing terribly, even Bodog (anyone else seeing this?) whereas some of the UK and EU programs are having really good months. Suppose on average it’s ok.

I do not target German players because they are not allowed to play anymore or are they?

and why do the casinos target them if it is not allowed anymore? :sarcasm:

BTW, how to list your site’s sitelinks on google?

From what I have read, the following is needed to get sitelinks:

1. Process is automatic
2. Site needs to be over a year old
3. Need to have #1 spot for keyword for a year

If you have an established site and you search for your site name (IE for me if I search for casinodave, I also see sitelinks), you may find sitelinks.

When you have sitelinks, you have the ability to de-select a sitelink that is displayed, but do not have the ability to choose which sitelinks are shown. This is all done from Google Webmaster Tools.
